I wanted to make a comment that I felt so strongly about that I made an account.
NASL put so much time and effort into creating an awesome tournament that will further E-Sports greatly. A lot of people are saying the tournament is a let down because of the pros that haven't applied.
Well... the pros are the ones that let us down.
That being said, I am satisfied with the players that will probably be attending this tournament. It shows that they care, and I respect that.

you do realize that a lot of players have already been contacted and are not required to make a application video? ^^
so, its actually URSELF letting URSELF down by not reading up on stuff=p

Uh, I'm pretty sure that everyone has to make an application video.
Or do you guys think NASL hadn't contacted EG, ROOT or Team Liquid players beforehand?
It's just that (we're hoping) some videos are private/in the NASL vault instead of out there in the public meaning that some of the big names who haven't had videos posted are still in the running.
Also, people seem to not have understood the difference between "you have to make a video to apply" and "your application will be judged based on the video".
Application videos are mandatory, but not the basis on which people will be invited to the league, obviously.

I did not know that. That's a relief scratch what I said, I feel like an idiot @.@

Acctually you have to even if you are contacted, you even have to put it on youtube but you don't need to make it public.

I'm just wondering about this sentence. If it's really that it's mandatory, a lot of good players just were left out of NASL. Their own fault yes, but still shitty situation for players and for viewers.

It was clear from the start that they would be contacting some teams while others would simply have to contact them. It doesn't mean all players from the contacted teams would be participate though.

Amen to that.

If Idra made a video, he had to. If Idra has to make a video, everyone does.
Just hoping that there are more uncovered private videos.

Exactly. Not to mention the fact that the sentence includes "teams AND players". Are there any teams who haven't had some players with application videos?

I find it a bit weird how some people (not most) seem a little unperceptive as to sarcasm, trolling, trying to be funny.
I don't really follow some of these players, but I found some of the not name brand pros interviews to be pretty cool and inspirational. I also noticed many people just fan bandwagon onto popular names, sometimes justly, sometimes not.
Also...am I the only one who can't see Firezerg's youtube video? It says it is private for me.
Lastly...my heart wants like 2-3 up and comers to get a chance. But then I think about all the deserving players who would be pissed, as well as the subsequent SotG where they discuss how Player X is a joke and doesn't deserve a spot over players A through G or whatever.
