A small amount of Koreans to begin with (5-8) is fine. After that, they should have some form of incentive to participate in the open qualifiers for each season, quite like foreigners have to do with the GSL of current. Overall number of Koreans may rise due to the open tournament should results go their way.

Who knows. Anyone can get knocked out of any tournament right now. No one is really quite safe. GSL keeps proving this time and time again.

Don't judge it on face value that Koreans are simply gonna own everyone. It's a league format, so it's a marathon, not a sprint here. You have time practising against these guys, you can study their builds from the live games. This is the best and even playing field you guys are gonna get with Koreans right now.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Is there any way a mod can fix the OP? For such a giant active thread the guy hasn't updated it for 2 days and it's really annoying to have to skim through the pages to find the new vids (I know there is a more frequently updated list on Pg. 51... maybe we can get that copy / pasted into the op??).

Done.

Thanks man!

I like a lot of the VODs, I just wanted to add that I think the NASL is going to be looking for not only tip-top players but personalities. Watching videos like CatZ, Artosis, FXOSheth, TT1, KiWiKaKi, PainUser or Tyler (lol best one) make me look forward to the NASL. I won't name names of the ones I did not care for, but I just think that some of these players need to be themselves and show some personality in their applications. That's just my two cents though, hope to see a lot of these amazing players in the league.

Fecking loved the OGS and Startale interviews. The Startale ones definitely looked scripted, but maybe their english just isn't as good as the oGs guys. From everything i've heard since i started following this site it sounds like there's a willingness on behalf of the oGs guys to really learn the English from the Liquid guys which is a resource - REAL LIFE FOREIGNERS - which Startale just doesn't have i wouldn't think. Unless Torch is there talking to them all day which i somehow doubt.

Really really cool stuff. I certainly appreciate the effort these guys are putting in, and i definitely feel like they're more than just aware of the foreign scene and their fans.

Props to NASL for setting this up to - intended results or not. I was really missing my monthly dose of MC speaking English since GOM changed their post match interview format. What a champion!

and gj huk with interviews, pretty funny

And not to be all OMGKOREA, cause i'm really enjoying the foreigner vods too. This is such a great way of getting personality out of players we otherwise wouldn't neccessarily see in front of a camera like this. Awesome awesome awesome.

That was what, 15-20 Koreans? Surely you have room for all of them in your 50 players. That, or expand it to 64 or something. It MUST be done!

I think what I really like about NASL is the long group play. This pretty much ensures that the best players make it to the end because they have to play so many matches against so many people. It kinda bugs me about GSL is that each player has to play like 4 opponents to get to the end because I think "well if x played y these could turn out completely different. Did the best player win?"

It's okay dude. It's Nada. You're not any different from any other self-respecting tL member for being... interested.

Yeah but would you rather see personality or better games? I'm sure the organizers realize we ultimately just care about the quality of games. If they can have personality AND good games, even better.
