Don't know if people criticise his iviews for his accent. It's just the fact that his questions aren't really questions, it's more him talking for one minute then asking something totally confusing. IMO it's too bad that he doesn't just stick to casting, he does an amazing job there. Even though it's the first time I hear him commentate, I'd easily put him in my top3 preferred casters.

It's just that his pronunciation is terrible for someone from Germany who's from an environment (gaming) which advocates English. Probably we just have higher standards for German people, because we want to be proud when they represent us in the international scene.


He speaks very well and is easy to understand for me. I'm a native english speaker and he speaks much better english than I speak german. lol. I think he does a great job and I have some problems with understanding accents of casters at times.

He did say in one of the youtube interviews that he will cast more if he gets the chance to and that he can imagine doing it after he quits as a players. He also said he wanted to improve on his english in that case.

I agree, I think TLO's English is perfectly fine. It'd be silly to expect him to sound like an American or even someone from England etc. On the very rare occasion is there a word where he'll use it incorrectly, but it's not too hard to figure out what he meant. Personally the only trouble I have with European casters and even Asian casters for that matter, is that they talk way too fast. It's almost like they don't understand the purpose of commas and periods when they're speaking(which it not being a native language, is completely understandable). My only whine ..slow down the speech!

I also think it's reasonable for not just other Germans, but even Europeans to complain more about his English than someone who speaks English because it's a foreign language to them as well. Speaking foreign languages for me to other say Americans, is an absolute nightmare at times. ><

Squirtle and Ace (and Moon but idra never faced him) both lost first round in code A.

Thus him saying they are code B.

Also, squirtle is not better, nor as good as MVP, not even that close. Beating him once is impressive but it does not mean in the least that he is at the same level.

Squirtle might take home this tournament though, would be a good confidence booster for him

If Blizzard worked on Fifa balance, every team would been nerfed until no one run faster than a 8 year old kid and there would be 2 goalkeepers for avoid imbalanced shoots from a blind angle .

There's more reason for someone from another game to watch this, because being in Germany they probably have at least some interest in soccer while they have no interest in SC2. At the same time SC2 probably has a much bigger international viewer base, so stream views probably say more than people in the audience.

As far as I can tell, from the lack of streams of other games, this also may be the only game being played at the moment. So that could possibly factor into it as well.

If you compare it to the games played earlier today , it was pretty early when they played the quarterfinals , starting at 9:15 am ; so its only natural more people are there now.
