As much as we may hate HongUn for 4-gating so much, and people who 4-gate in general, it is a very legitimate strategy that defines the game on how any vP matchup is played. Eh, I put HongUn on about the same level as Rain (the guy who took him out GSL3). He hasn't really shown us anything particularly impressive, not that he didn't deserve his wins, but I'd say the same about Rain for his path to the finals (besides vs Nestea)

Check played a lot cooler on Shakuras, had he not wasted those banes, (meaning not suiciding to take out a PF, maybe a couple to splash the scv line) He would have been so far ahead. Nada played solid and won. Good for him he deserves top 8, but its just not particularly exciting, no matter how many times Artosis overstates Nada strength. (physically)

(physically) im impressed the fact he can get to ro8 with little practice. the fact he does not get to practice as much others is a scary thought. imagine if he lived in the oGs house.

Hongun has had a lot of really bad control issues in the past and IIRC botched his micro even when he was 4gating Jinro but game 3 was really really solid. Seems like a tough opener for Terran to deal with too

I still think MC looks like the strongest player, and that's not just because he's the only champion left, he just looks that good!

MC looks invincible again. Hongun shows one of his solid phases. He jumps between that and terrible phases. I honestly was suprised Clide lost. In the one real "macro" game (game 2) once Clide knew how to handle the agression he destroyed July. I really think that like Kyrix, July's style is going to get him moderately far, and then he's going to completely fall behind. In game 3, I just felt like Clide played worse then normal. And Nada vs Check was interesting. Check still needs to work on a few things. Nada seemed good though.

With the right mindset I could see Nada taking a championship. MVP and Jinro are both stronger overall players, but nada has his own strengths. He is so comfortable in a situation where he has 5 bases, whereas I feel mvp is much more comfortable in 2-3 bases executing a solid timed attack.

Until he dominates his way to finals or plays some really epically close games and wins he wont be a fan favorite. Not saying he isnt good, but people wont cheer as loudly for someone until they do something crazy. He should be a fan favorite simply because he's Nada. Did most people here not watch bw I don't get it. Yea skillwise he's not at the top right now obviously, but in terms of fans, he's definitely near the top.
