Of course, that's assuming You ignore the actual play in the games and only look at results. He beat Sjow pretty much every time he played straight up, and was only held down for so long due to Socke's beastly PvP. His losses in the group stages came from Moon, a man who should never be counted out, and Moonglade, who is FAR from a slouch himself, and Socke, whose PvP is again nonsensically good.

I am almost positive that in Korea they teach their kids English in grade school. I mean my friend is over there doing just that. Reading and speaking are two different things. Europeans are in the same situation but they always respond in english. I think it's more of a case of most players being too shy. MC is the exception ofc! he doesn't afraid of anything. Learning English is much easier for Europeans, many European languages have similar roots that just make them more natural. That's my take on it anyway :/ Yep, this. English is much easier to learn for Europeans, just like Chinese is much easier to learn if you are Korean. Korean can speak good Chinese after just 1-2 years of learning, while most European have hard time to speak the basic after a few years in China. Or just look at Tastless and Artosis, they barely speak Korea after 2-3 years living in Korea full time.

Idra probably not too happy he has to play Squirtle tomorrow out of all the possibilties.

anyone know if the VODs are gonna be put up somewhere other than the ESL stream page? those VODs are horrifically organized and a pain to navigate
if theyre gonna be put on youtube or some place organized where i can find specific games, can someone pm me and direct me to those VODs?

If they could arrange a FFA for these three guys tomorrow as a showmatch, I would cry tears of joy.

So guys, any recommended games from today? (besides the epic series from the tiebreaks)

No one is denying he has a very very good PvT (just ask MVP) but that doesn't make him the best player, especially since there are no more terran players left.
He lost to all the zergs. Went 2-5 against the other protoss and beat the terrans.
Just lucky for him the results ended up working for him so 2 wins against the terrans was enough to advance.
