While we won't reveal exactly how the bracket is being generated just yet, we can tell you that the better you perform in the TSL Qualifiers the stronger the position you will receive in the bracket. Thus finishing well is desirable, assuming they want an easier first round opponent! We definitely discussed it. He is not in the same situation as a TL Open winner for these reasons: Tournament winners have higher seeds than ladder players and as such everyone should get the chance to win one despite having a lot of points. The ranking of the ladder is used for seeding as well so everyone should have the chance to fight himself (or defend) to the #1 spot. I won't go into specifics right now as that is a much larger subject that we will announce with more hype than just a forum message | ||
