You just dissed all the rest of the world's Starcraft Players!!! So diamond league Korean server is better then the rest of the world master league players? really?! I can't believe she diss all the viewers watching this. It's not a diss, it's pretty much true :| No it's not.. diamond in Korea is just like diamong in Europe/NA. Why would you think otherwise is beyond me. By your logic TOP should've roflstomped people at Dreamhack but that didn't happen did it. H ow is that possible? Easy, The top tier (progamer tier) of foreigners is quite similar to the progamer tier of koreans. That is why oGsTop didn't roflstomp everyone at Dreamhack. However, the top 10% of players (masters, diamond level) in korea is significantly better than the top 10% anywhere else. All of the feedback we've gotten from kroea indicates that the ladders there are much more challenging. There's many more very good players in korea and they crowd the mediocre players out of masters and into diamond, whereas in the US a larger ratio of newbies have taken up the game and they crowd the lower leagues. If you are low-mid masters in NA/EU you would almost certainly find yourself in plat/diamond in Korea.
People also need to remember what the size difference is. Masters on NA might be nearly as big as Diamond on KR. There's a HUGE size difference.

.. kelly was comparing typical diamond players in KR to typical masters in NA / EU
Are Mana, Fenix, etc your typical masters ladder player???? no they are the tip top of the server.
They said that there are so much more good players in KR compared to NA/EU although at the very very top, it is pretty close aside from some freaks like MVP/Nestea/MC.
Considering every Pro who has played all KR/NA/EU servers has basically said the same thing so far, i don't see whats the big disagreement are.

Supernova looked way better today.
Plus the KR delay makes it harder for koreans

They weren't even discussing the top tier players, so I don't get why people are arguing about that...

They didn't watch the stream, so they are reacting against posts in the LR. I'd suggest that they watch the VOD first before they continue their arguments.

Mana is a top protoss from EU, Supernova is not top Terran from KR. Wouldnt it be more fair to compare oGsMC vs Mana or IMMvp vs Mana?
Also people love to flame they were compairing random player from mid-low masters with top diamond KR vs US, not like they were saying US Pro players were likely to be in diamond if they were on korea.
1/4 on Liquidbet today =_(

I love how people cherry pick a couple of games like this one, or Top's Dreamhack performance, and then use that to paint a broad generalization about skill level. Hell, I could also say that TheSTC was rolling everyone in both FXOpens + Show Spoiler +until he ran into his teammate , and thus is superior to all foreigners. Obviously, that's not true.
The point is, there has not been a representative sample size of games between top foreigners versus Koreans to really make any educated comparisons.
..and, it's kind of funny how Kelly wasn't even talking about top level pros...

at least i got Alicia right! Junwi never lets me down! Ret better win against jobbsu after all his good performances lately

Sad to see mOOnglade out ..

You serious? Mana is a top EU player while I never even heard of SuperNova until today. In your blind attempt at making an argument for EU, you ended up making KR look even better by showing that a no-name KR player can easily take a game off of a top EU player. Like someone else said, let's see what things look like when we have players like MC/MVP/Nestea against a top foreigner. IIRC MC beat Naama in a fairly recent tournament.

now to remember what idra was saying about zergs in the next(current) gsl season :D

Wow, after Squirtle totaly owned GSTL he is out from Code A. Thats a big suprise :O
|
There are more progamers in korean ladder than in EU or NA.
That means it is harder to play on top of Korean ladder.
It doen't necessarily mean than top 5 Korean players are better than top 5 EU or NA.

Jjun just looked so solid today, and I think his play would've been more than a match for the average GSL Zerg player. Moonglade also played relatively solidly, though not as well. Perhaps he might have done better if booth nerves weren't an issue, though until an interview with him is released, we can't be sure about all the reasons for his loss. Nevertheless, it's sad to see another foreigner knocked out. Perhaps Ret will avenge for his loss.
On one hand, I'm surprised to see Squirtle get knocked out. On the other hand, his builds were quite strange and flawed that I wonder how he would do had he played more standardly. He seems to be a very proficient player in team leagues, though I think it's somewhat apparent that he is weak in the individual leagues.

People, calm it down on Kelly. In her latest interview she said that she was flying out of Korea on like the 17th of March. Moletrap is supposed to be coming to Korea in March. She will be casting the rest of the Code A tournament and then be gone. Moletrap will take over for the next tournament. She might come back, but that depends on if she gets more positive feedback than Moletrap.
GOM might just be bringing in a new caster every tournament, see the reaction, and then if that person sticks, they stay. Kelly probably won't last due to a large majority hating on her, but she has improved. I don't think she's great, and I still can't understand her all the time, but she's trying her best.
Just last it out till the end of the month and you'll get your wish.

Just got back from uni. It's sad to see moonglade knocked out. I hope he tries again! Oh and Squirtle lost? WHAT HAPPENED?

Interesting... Ace and Squirtle both roflstomped... By Terrans no less. This is why I think the GTSL is kinda overrated. Except for the finals, I don't think teams were sending out their best players in order to save strategies for this Code S tournament...
Stinks for MoOnGlade... But Jjun looked quite strong!
Also, did rain cheese out his opponent, because I quite like rain in some ways!

He ran into an exploding supergiant.
