No it's not.. diamond in Korea is just like diamong in Europe/NA. Why would you think otherwise is beyond me. By your logic TOP should've roflstomped people at Dreamhack but that didn't happen did it. How is that possible?

Oh yeah, Kelly has improved so much.

I don't know.. All she does is reading what she sees happening on the map. No analysis or prediction worth of any..

Which is exactly what makes her a better caster. She's now doing her job while Tasteless (who has more knowledge) does more of the analytical commentary.

Exactly how Tasteless simply observes the action when paired with Artosis who, because he has more knowledge than Tastelesss, provide the analytical commentary.

The longer she stays, the more people will like her because she giggles at every joke Tasteless makes and is being cute there.
This community is so sceptical of Husky, TB and even HD.

But when a caster doesn't know that P doesn't take a second gas before cybercore...

What I get annoyed of today, My top 3:
1) Lack of professionalism: I like that they sometimes bash players. But I heard them say 15 times today, "I don't know what X is doing, I do not agree".

2) Lack of information:
If a good zerg player thinks that P takes 2 gasses before cyber core otherwise it is a 4-gate rush... Nouf said.

3) Lack of positive emotion.
They sound depressing, like they are depressed how bad the games are. And it rubs of on me.

I think this actually deserves to be addressed in a Live Report. Because the casting is a VERY important part of the cast.

While I am typing this I heard Tasteless say 5 times; I don't know what Junwi is doing...

I agree with all of those points. Artosis does the same thing when the games aren't as exciting. They sit and bash the players instead of doing their job and trying to make the games exciting, almost APOLOGIZING for the low level of play seen during Code A games.

If I didn't agree with them 100% when they complain about the game quality, I'd probably find it more offensive.
Teamwork is awesome... As long as your team is doing all the work!

Honestly i dont think she is that bad at all, after i got over her accent i think she is a reasonable addition to the team, her analysis is decent shes fairly easy on the eyes and shes quite cheerful, shes done alot better than i thought she would so far.

1. She is bad, she makes terrible, wrong, declarative statements and often leaves long and awkward silences that tasteless makes heroic efforts to fill. The commentary is getting dry and tasteless can't keep it entertaining by himself.

2. You don't get over the accent, unless you're from singapore. You can understand what she's saying, yes, but the accentuation, and the sheer pitch/grating tone of her voice coupled with the terrible pronunciation makes it a pain to listen to. Honestly, even tasteless has started making fun of the things she says (TWO TORS *chuckle*).

3. Her analysis is bad, see point 1, she makes random statements based on random things that she sees that have no effect on the actual outcome.

4. She's actually NOT attractive, however this is a subjective topic, and I won't argue.

5. Cheerful =/= good commentary, she makes terribad jokes and laughs at them herself, and tasteless gives a forced laugh once in a while too. Makes a fake laugh at everything tasteless says as well. Completely lacks the synergy that tastosis has, where they build on each other, have common topics and whatnot.

td;lr

She's a bad caster, and just as bad as we had expected, I pray she doesn't make it through to next season so I can watch code A, and I now await the flood of white knights rushing to her defense.

1. Tasteless makes just as many mistakes, Artosis often makes wrong predictions.
2. It's not a pain to listen to, guessing you don't deal with non native speakers very often. I have no problems with it, it doesn't grate, it's not annoying.
3. Once again in compaison to what? Tastosis often will both say something only for it go completely opposite.
4. Subjective, has nothing to do with casting ability.
5. Tastosis didn't have synergy at the start.. you build that by working together. her cheerfulness and enthusiasm is good, would you rather have a caster be dry and miserable?

So much blind hate, the IRC is unreadable throughout code A games due to all the people makes "Jokes" about her accent, as if its 1, big, 2, clever, 3 1975... not everyone speaks the same, get over it.

Actually yes, they said just that, did you not see the game? So, no they did not mean the rest of the world. And BTW, I think most of the pro's agree, seeing that many of the NA players are playing a lot on the EU server.

I'm getting worse with my predictions. Today I got only 2/4 right.

I voted for JJun and Alicia. Didn't expect SuperNova and Rain win. That was a small surprise

Day 1: 4/4
Day 2: 3/4
Day 3: 2/4

Next time I'll probably get only 1 right...

I have to pretty much agree with this. Tasteless is really struggling to keep the excitement going.
About casting and casters in general: To me, a good caster needs:

a) knowledge of the game,

b) a good voice (pitch, tone, accent, etc.), of course, this is subjective, but to be honest, kelly's high pitch voice just isn't that pleasant,

c) to be able to get me excited (passionate casting style: see Tasteless, Artosis, Day9, Incontrol, Khaldor...just to name a few)

d) to be spontaneous and flexible (something goes wrong and the caster needs to fill the gaps)

Regarding the games today, I guess the skill level is a lot more even than most think. Squirtle was one of the favorites for this Code A season after beating MVP and yet he lost bad. (Ok, it was Sair and he prepared builds)
Looking foward to tomorrows games

Fenix also took out Madfrog. Does that make NA better than Europe? Huk who has played on all three servers has stated that Korea>EU>NA.

Pretty sure IdrA says the same exact thing all the time about the skill level disparity (laddering on NA is pretty much bashing noobs, etc). Top also played like total garbage at Dreamhack (and no big surprise that he might get knocked down to Code A again...guy isn't that solid), although none of the guys were really that great.

lol @ people raging at eachother over ladder difficulties,
every1 knows the ladders are pretty much the same but that there are more very good players in KR.
So basically high masters in korea is better then NA and EU, but everything below that is exactly the same

Easy, The top tier (progamer tier) of foreigners is quite similar to the progamer tier of koreans. That is why oGsTop didn't roflstomp everyone at Dreamhack. However, the top 10% of players (masters, diamond level) in korea is significantly better than the top 10% anywhere else.

All of the feedback we've gotten from kroea indicates that the ladders there are much more challenging. There's many more very good players in korea and they crowd the mediocre players out of masters and into diamond, whereas in the US a larger ratio of newbies have taken up the game and they crowd the lower leagues. If you are low-mid masters in NA/EU you would almost certainly find yourself in plat/diamond in Korea.

waoh, now your bashing kelly for only saying what actually is there in the game?
i remember times when all of us were sick of tastosis false prediction (like the "gg anytime" calls)
All what KT currently needs is a Zerg and a second Terran
