Please remember that these threads are for talking about the games. People who cannot watch rely on these threads for information. If the thread is diluted with balance/caster/lack of snacks whine, it makes it useless for those who want to read it. Thanks a lot!

As always, the haters have to whine about one opponent cheesing the other, as if early rushes or hidden plays aren't completely valid strategies- especially against the best player in the world. There's absolutely no reason why July had to play a *respectable* 30 minute long macro game vs. MVP. You see an advantage, you take it. You think you can win, you do it. This is a tournament, where money is on the line. July already has infinite respect from his Brood War days, and now he should have more for beating MVP. The ends justify the means when it comes to victory in SC2 (unless we're talking about straight up cheating, and we're not). Yeah, I'm disappointed that the best player got knocked out. But I'm disappointed with MVP; I'm not going to blame his opponent for seizing any opportunity he could to win. That's just ridiculous. Congratulations to July. And MC. Period. Great post- my feelings exactly. July's not one of my favorite players but I love the fact that he throws away the zerg textbook and mixes it up with aggressive play every time. It's like the haters want zerg players to be robots and do the same old drone-whoring play every game- they can't appreciate any variations in strategy so they just have to bitch and whine for pages and pages.

Also, it seems like Terminus got a new texture job. The metal textures no longer "blend" into each other, which people have been complaining about for a while. It seems like they sharpened all the metal textures to look nicer. Hopefully, the version on the other servers will be updated, since the map looks prettier.
