Actually, MVP is seeded, so it is not unbalanced, it is the result of good results in the past. The seeded players get the easier draws, it is as simple as that.

Clide gets a bye, then Zenio and Byun play. Since the Zenio/Byun winner would play the loser of the other set (a bye), the Zenio/Byun winner automatically becomes 2-0 and gets Ro16, correct?

March 2011 Code S Group Selections
Actually MVP chose to play against Hyperdub and he was able to take first pick since he was the highest seed.
