It's ok to be excited that your favorite player won. Please keep it manner! |

Adel should have won that game. All he had to do was retreat after dealing damage and expand. There was no way ret could have done anything had he done that. Losing his army was the mistake which allowed ret back in the game.

Again, this isn't GSL, so it's cross positions! GSL must be cursed or something. This should be good.

Yea a player is never good. His opponent just plays badly.......

I was worried for a while. I find that ret's play has very few holes in it compared to other players i watch. The big criticism against him was that he falls to All-ins alot... could be due to his powerdroining. 2 combat units at 7 minutes for example. If an attack pushes out if hes off a larva cycle, he can really be in trouble. He plays like EGmachine in terms of greed and macro style, but like 3 times better.
Yeah this has often been the case. Often if he gets to mid and late game he suddenly have a huge drone advantage and just roll his opponent. As a consequence of this he can lose early if he misreads his opponent.

Now that I think about it, even in GTSL PvZ seemed a clutch match-up for both sides; PvT was where Protoss roflstomped all over the place.
The wierd thing is that Zergs are saying the opposite. ZvP usually are the matchup where they lose the most.

Well after this event hes my favourite caster, rivaled only by day9 (and maybe maybe by tastosis when they are at their best). And i dont speak a word of german.

This is true.

I think a lot if it has to do with people bandwagoning with IdrA. IdrA has always been, in some sense, the spokesperson of the Zerg side, and his first two Imbalance episodes all dealt with issues in PvZ.

You could see a lot of people saying the same thing regarding Jinro when he won MLG and then after his first top placement in the gsl. Apparently that was mostly because of his weak opponents...

Ret played well.
My only complaint was the lack of tower control, I felt like he wouldn't know when his opponent would push out, unless I was missing something.
Well played by both players, until Adel overextended. Hope he doesn't make the same mistake, for an even better game on cross meta (... with Ret winning again, of course)

Come on adelscott you want to force field against the lings, yes you do ^^.
