Socke won a nice blink stalker game and then got a cheesy win on a terrible map, but it's PvP and Huk does the same. I like both players and both of them deserve credit for how well they've done at this tournament. It was a huge all in by Socke, but that's what you do on Steppes- you either all in or you lose to an all in. Anyways, I'm mostly just curious why on earth the Assembly organizers would allow Steppes in a tournament. Its not like people dont proxy gate on every other 2 player map He scouted the proxy gate, but the timing was slow because of Steppes' size, whereas on another map he would've had proper timing.

Huk was the only reason I was even following amateur europeans play (and seriously.. half of them were horrible in one way or another)...

I think ima wait for GSL code A match ups. Dude, why you gotta make us Americans sound so ignorant? Take a chill pill or two and just calm down please.

when he says cut the bronze match does he mean not air it? or are they gonna coin flip for 3rd place?(which seems ridiculous and I cant really believe they would do something like that :D)

no it's not.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with his interview. He felt very confident and he shared his opinion. He didn't insult or belittle anyone, he simply said that he feels like he's the best player there.
There's nothing wrong with that, and the fact that you're so hung up about this only points out that you have insecurity or overconfidence issues.

Can one hope for a Ret v Morrow ZvZ finals? :D

Ret, Adel, Socke and Morrow are amateurs?

No terran in top4 in a EU tournament...what a pleasant change =)

Was that the right call? huk had a much later gate so he would never be able to catch up in zealot count which is what you need to be able to go for pylon. he thought his base would be alright cause of canons so he tried to counter to draw zealots away/maybe kill some probes but he misplaced canons so he lost gate so gg

It's not Socke's fault, he chose a risky strategy and it paid off. And Huk is possibly better than Socke in many ways.
The game did not suck because of the players or their streagies, it sucked because it was played on a horrible map. Can't wait to see it replaced.

Morrow vs Socke should be starting in 45 minutes!

They have casters so bad that people would rather watch the German stream despite not knowing German? Please tell me why they are bad instead of making absolute statements without any base yo. People don't enjoy them, partly because the lack of chemistry and partly because of their lack of game knowledge. It's subjective anyway, I'm sure there's quite a few who do enjoy them.
I watch Khaldor less because I hate GLHF (which I don't) and more because he's freakin' amazing as a caster. I know maybe two words in German but the game with Inso v.. some zerg yesterday made Khaldor provide some of the best casting I've heard.

Some of you really need to re-think before you hit the post button. I feel bad for you.
