The voice inflection for incontrol was f'n great. Was very exciting to watch because of that, even if it was a couple seconds ahead of time out of sync

Great games, amazing news that NASL is coming, the production wasn't awful considering the 20k viewers.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication iNcontrol, I look forward to seeing the fruits of your labours.

IdrA's reminding me of JD now...seems like he's just lost all interest in the game :\

I wonder why Idra didn't use any infestor builds. I thought he liked it when he was on 12 weeks with the Pros. I just think it lets you get to Ultra/bane so fast which is such a strong comp.

+ Show Spoiler +
The last game IdrA got some infestors before the big Jinro push, i think they complemented his slow banelings really well. (i know speed would be better, but infestors don't make it as big off a deal) However i still couldn't believe Jinro won game 6, i thought for sure he was in the dumps after making that many turrets but 3/3 marines are not to be messed with.

So Idra lost? Could of picked that easily.

Guy just mouths off yet doesn't do anything decent himself considering he has been in korea now for what seems like forever...

Apparently you didnt even listen to Jinro himself during the interview.

If you're referring to the last question, Jinro is an amazingly nice guy and dodges the "best foreigner" question every time, but when you're rolling over somebody 8-3 in high profile and high money games, it's not "close".

He's a class above Idra at the moment. The very last game of the showmatch showed it better than any other.

There very last map showed how close the two are. IdrA harassed his balls off and played well... but forgetting baneling speed is huge. People have lost games over and over again in BW and SC2 from forgetting a single major upgrade.

Forgetting baneling speed thing shows EXACTLY why Jinro is clearly the better player. When you look at that game, it was Jinro who was under constant hard pressure constantly. Usually the player under pressure is prone to making mistakes like that because of additional stress of having to react to harassment and risk of losing the game immediately. Jinro remained rock solid throughout that pressure, and it was his opponent who made the critical mistake. Coincidentally, kind of similar to what choya did in their GSL series when he forgot Thermal Lance.

Players on that level don't just "forget" critical upgrades like that. They get those upgrades every game, they press the hotkey every game. The point is, in high pressure games, Jinro has the mental stamina to deal with the pressure, and that makes a huge difference between one of the top players and the rest.

You can say they're "incredibly close" if you want to be nice to both of them, but they're really not incredibly close. They're about as close as Flash and Fantasy, they might both be top level players, but come on...

I don't know, I think he was overplaying it a bit too much. Then again, the desync just made it all seem kind of ridiculous to begin with.

Talin still fanboying Jinro hardcore.

Once Incontrol gets a little more experience casting I think he could make one of the best casters. He has the personality and game sense for it. NASL woooo!

They'll do great when the time comes.

Remember Tasteless and Artosis in GSL1?

If iNcontroL and Gretorp progress half as well as they have they'll be amazing pretty soon.

I love Gretorp and InControl about 100x more when they are a little less serious and have a little more fun... I know they are trying to be professional but I would love it if they let themselves go a little bit more. They seemed a bit too uptight, especially Gretorp, and I notice this a lot in his casts. Gretorp is outrageously funny when he is not casting and I wish he would let more of that shine through, same with InControl though he did try to joke around a little.

Gretorp, InControl, we love your personalities, don't water them down too much just to be "professional."

The parts of the series I could catch were good. I don't think that anyone on to will pretend the production was 100%.

I think the problem on the casting side is that both Inc and gretorp are both analysts first and foremost. It takes a special personality like day9 tasteless, diggity, artosis, etc to be both. I don't think nasl will match the gsl with this combination only. It will be good to hear diggity as a mainstay of the equation. He is certainly deserving. Other than that guest contracting hd and husky is not a bad idea. It is a business after all and they have a huge following.

Good effort overall and I look forward to what's in the future.

Jinro's post interview was pretty insightful. "Fun" was a word he seems to hang on. It's pretty cool to see a pro at that level still striving for the game to be fun. After all, what's the point?

I thought they did a few casts together for the GCPL or some other showmatch, but I'm not too sure. Anyways, they did well and I enjoyed this series.

Painful to watch showmatch series, the games were OK, but with the casters constantly being +-5 seconds out of sync it became pretty much hell. I also feel that both incontrol and gretorp try to fill the same role as the "complete caster&commentator", they'd both be better solo casting i'd say.
A minor thing, but the graphics overlay on the interview, the CLASH OF THE TITANS logo and the replay overlay were simply ugly.

I really don't hope (nor do i believe it) that this is a sign of what is to come with NASL.

For goodness sake, could we get the first page updated? It took me five minutes of page browsing to figure out Jinro won, let alone the match score.

Decent showmatch, although I wish IdrA had gotten more upgrades against those 3-3 marines.

On a side note, that was probably the worst casting I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. Please tell me incontrol and gretorp will not be casting NASL because if they are, it will be very painful to watch.

IdrA said in that leaked audio clip that he secretly hates the game (and that, according to Fakesteve, every other top player Fakesteve had talked to secretly hates the game as well). I wouldn't interest me if he's lost interest in something he hates.
