Not really - it's a cross-map expansion when he has TOTAL MAP CONTROL. Really clever! Even if terran wanted to push it, he'd get enough time for 2 rounds of warpgates to reinforce AND the terran has to worry about being counterattacked.

![]() But still don't get why oGs kept putting up terrans and played MC last big mistake imo :/.

He made a phoenix to prepare for the raven/banshee but when the phoenix went to his base he saw he had expanded instead of doing the all-in. Instead of trying to expand and be behind he started pumping void rays + immortals and went all-in himself. It worked because the T did a 1-1-1 opening (heavy tech) and then expanded without really pressuring at all.. had a lot of tech (blue flame, medivacs, ECT) but no units. The only build we saw from Seed that I think was just straight all-in cheesy was the 4 gate in game 1. Nobody can blame the guy for the scrap game... your team is up 3-0 and your against MC on a map thats pretty difficult to stop proxy gates. Might as well go for it. MVP vs MC was dissapointing but it happens. MC had a decent build but MVP was ready with the turret... I would have liked to see MC back off and expand instead of trying to bust once he saw the turret though. You know MVP is too solid to get caught with his macro behind or something and die to that. Looking like IM vs TSL in the finals to me. Can anyone on TSL or ZeNEX actually beat mvp?

oGs can you blame them for not sending zerg against IM? sure Zenio is good but IM has the best TvZ player and the best ZvZ player.. Slayers and Zenex neither team has a "known" zerg player at all so yeah. no surprise there I think we will see both Fruitdealer and July play in TSL/ST. Other game who knows.. Nestea definitely could play but its very possible that they don't need him to cus of MVP

Leenock wasn't available for fOu cus of school and ST obviously didn't need to send a zerg (squirtle all kill). Same deal with TSL.. no need for FD when Alive 3 kills them. oGs can you blame them for not sending zerg against IM? sure Zenio is good but IM has the best TvZ player and the best ZvZ player.. Although I agree with basically everything stated here, the fact of the matter is, everyone in Korea believes that zerg is too vulnerable. Sure there are strong players like NesTea and FD, but they still struggle against top terrans, and some even believe that ZvP is a worse match up than ZvT. Terran is by far the safest pick since they believe TvZ is very skewed in terran's favor and TvP is very winnable. Expect more TvT's and TvP's.
