I mean they'll have to if any team gives them enough of a challenge - ie if any team takes out MVP and Seed. IM has more Zergs than most of these other teams I think, except for maybe oGs.

Agreed, I saw a 4 gate, a one base build that deflected a TvP hellion drop and made air against marauders, a hidden expo, and a proxy build from him. Not sure where he gets the godlike status from Nick...

I thought at first watching him hold off the proxy rax in the first game "geeze, this guy not looking great...." then he actually holds it really well and shows some good skill the rest of the way.

When you pick a player, you want someone who can not only defeat the opposing player, but also someone who can continue to win. The opposing coach can choose both the map and the player, and obviously this being bo1, you only need a build specifically designed to kill a zerg. Do you think a zerg has a better than 50% chance of defending against an arbitrary build on an arbitrary map? It would seem that the coaches do not think so, and instead pick Protoss and Terran players they think have a better chance of surviving more than one game. Thus far Zergs seem to have done much worse in loser-picks formats of all kinds.

He did all in alot but he had a real cool build prepared for close spawn metal/lt (he got close air spawn metal so didnt use) in which he got hallucination and then poked his opponent with a fake immortal to make it look like 1 base robo/collosus or something like that to get a terran to play passively while he took a hidden expansion, he did it on LT and it was pretty damn cool, he kinda gave it away though scouting with a phoenix, but then some DTs saved his life and bought him enough time to get the econ advantage to pay off.
