Hm, oGs vs IM comes down to a combination of Seed being a total boss, and oGs not taking it seriously enough, sending in (averagely skilled) Terran after Terran against a Toss who seems to have good PvT. Shame, oGs would have had great players on the roster.
ZeNEX vs SlayerS was pretty funky, all the players I expected to do well were eliminated instantly (Boxer, Puzzle, Byun and Alicia), though I was right in my expectation to see a lot of banshees. The slayers love banshees.

Sad day for Protoss, when MC understands what 2 million other players understand?
Right now, nobody of no race, can hang with MVP if he is on.
I say props to MC for trying something non-standard, although MVP scouted him easily with his starsense twice.

Mvp is a freak. Thought MC's dt build was quite cool, but sadly Mvp just read his mind. Guy is seriously amazing, don't know what's stopping him from winning again this season.

Didn't see that one coming. Thought someone was gonna pull the Clide joke out of their hat.

Considering that it isn't exactly standard to Turret up your chokes in TvP yet, I have found DTs to be a fairly solid strategy to transition into HTs into mid-game, instead of standard Colossi builds. Unfortunately MC ran into someone who has the game sense to put turrets in his choke with the limited information he had.

Actually, perhaps this is just empty noob speculation, but I think given one of the larger maps allowing for a more consistent macro game, I think Idra could stand to defeat MvP again if they get into that multi-base situation. But is still a might, MvP is really good.

MC doesn't want to reveal his strategies to Mvp in the next GSL as they are in the same groups.

Idra has no chance vs MVP in a bo3 or bo5

Did you watch the IdrA vs MVP series in the last GSL? Did you SEE how close it was - it was one misclick with his banelings on Blistering Sands that cost IdrA the game.. and then he spawned close positions on Metalopolis.. losing the series 2-1 ..
It was stupidly close..

Let's not forget about the results from the ladder match between Idra and MVP being extremely even.

IdrA and NesTea have the best chances to beat Mvp, however NesTea is 1-8 versus him sooooo
If anyone is to beat Mvp it's IdrA

Thought someone was gonna pull the Clide joke out of their hat. Well it was half joke half guesstimate - if you look at MVP's record (which stands at almost 82% win ratio on TL database) - MVP's worst losing streak of...2 games...was from Choya.

I think the team leagues are so much cooler than the solo events... this is awesome! I actually don't know though if someone wouldn't mind private messaging me... how often will they have these team leagues?

Edit: I'm not sure how I double posted... I didn't make two attempts, but sorry about that. :-\

MVP also made a lot of mistakes and he said that in the interview after his games against Idra. You can see his face after his game against Idra on blistering sands that he was not pleased with his play even though he won the game.
And there was the Gisado Challenge where MVP 2-0'd him.
I just don't see Idra taking more than 1 game from MVP in a BoX.

If anyone is to beat Mvp it's IdrA I'd like to mention that Zenio actually has done decently against MVP. Zenio defeated MVP 2-1 in GSL season 2, knocking him out, and I believe went 1-2 against him in the Gisado KOTH tournament (MVP went 10-1 against zergs, all killing, with his only loss to Zenio).

If they played, i think MVP would have crushed Idra. MVP have become incredibly good in GSL Jan so i dont think it's relevant to speak about other results than Jan. But ofc i can be wrong.
