After his great victory in the ESL Intel Extreme Masters SEA Qualifier, our great champion mOOn-GLaDe does not have time to rest. This Thursday at 18.30 (Beijing Time, GMT+8), he will have to face a last obstacle on his way to the World Finals. Loner.714 is waiting for him. This will be an epic world class BO5 no one should miss, as the pride of SEA goes against the pride of China, to claim the title of Asia champion and qualify to the World Finals.
ESL stuff up, thought China, Taiwan = SEA as well, then changed to this format, which kinda sucks for the 2 qualifiers. Good luck to the both of them, however I am rooting for mOOnGLaDe. GSL and World Champion? I think so :D
I think that Moonglade is actually a better player, Loner did absolutely nothing in GSL to impress me and he was getting a lot of hype just because he was the chinese player there. I don't think he's very good. That said I think Loner has a good chance to win just because of the TvZ matchup on the map pool. If it were ZvZ I think Glade would have it, but I hope he can still pull it out. It'll be much closer than people think.

Hunksta, I like how you think :p
But glade won't be complacent I guess, cause Loner did beat Sen 2-0 and it was kind of a total domination.
The biggest problem will be him having jet lag from having to just have landed in Korea and probably no time to practise at all. Maybe he can get Jinro to help him out :p
Is this LAN or online? I can't find the information anywhere. Maybe i'm blind but which server will they be playing on.
And if i'm not wrong, the map will be determined by vetoing out the map pool one by one till 5 maps are left. So out of the 9 maps, Glade will probably veto Steppes and JB while Loner probably Scrap and Sands.
DQ Metal LT Shakuras Xelnaga are decent if dq metal lt are not close positions. Sigh i hate it when the games are majorly determined by the spawning positions.
yea wtf this caster is one of the best out there for starcraft II you should show some respect and take your elitism somewhere else. Just because she's a woman dont make her annoying. I mean hell even tastosis has been recycling the same shtick for 4 seasons of GSL now. I watched IEM CS/QL streams and i pity upon our community for they all sound as awesome as Tasteless during his WCG days. We should encourage people like Kelly or HDstarcraft (who's been catching a shitton of flack in the past for no fucking reason other then the fact that he is not as quick to suggest that he knows better then the pro's (martijn comes to mind))

Coming to assumptions like this really angers me, kelly has put a lot of effort into the community and into casting to get where she is now and doesn't need her efforts being written off as a byproduct of how she looks on camera.
well atleast all 3 races are presented(thank god MorroW joined the darkside ) hopefully Moonglade wins so we have atleast 2 zergs, and some korean P and Z's wins/qualify for a good balanced IEM world championship

Kind of says it all when the only zerg qualified is actually someone who qualified as terran.
With that in mind, good luck to Moonglade! (although I am pessimistic)
Loner didn't look too convincing against Cezanne, but his nerves aren't too good in important matches. I think Glade has a pretty decent chance, hopefully he'll beat loner for some SEA representation in IEM.
whats the other commentators name beside totalbiscuit? IEM needs better commentator... totally out of the standard this kid is literally 10 years old...

I love how they have equal economy still. The close rush means the scvs can just go back like it ain't no thang. On DQ it seems that's actually not all-in.

The Brit guy, he's really entertaining... love the energy.

The guy is TotalBiscuit, you should check him out on youtube. Imo his style a little over the top in the long run, but hes definately the most professional sc2 commentator.
Today I learned that my voice cracks really badly in the mornings, though the 4 hours casting I did last night probably didn't help. Going back to bed.

You can join Artosis in the prepubescent casters section.

Oh that name actually rings a bell (sorry for being ignorant though ). I really hope he gets invited to cast GSL, heck even replace Tastosis if it doesn't improve.

the last 4 places will be koreans i believe
yep, last 4 will be the Korean IEM qualifers/finals
i hope that next year 2012, it would be like this:
Also really enjoyed the commentary - TB providing the excitement and intensity of play-by-play and kelly chiming in with facts and predictions made for some easy SC2 listening.
Oh God, of course mOOnGLaDe is gonna get in the Gom house. He freaking dominates tourneys, and wants to be in the GSL so bad. His drive and ambition could qualify him alone, let alone the fact he is a bloody great player.
Wasn't impressed at all with Loner's play in these games, some terrible micro just standing there with marines whilst banelings demolished them. Strange from such an accomplished player like him. But still wp Moonglade, great job!
