After his great victory in the ESL Intel Extreme Masters SEA Qualifier, our great champion mOOn-GLaDe does not have time to rest. This Thursday at 18.30 (Beijing Time, GMT+8), he will have to face a last obstacle on his way to the World Finals. Loner.714 is waiting for him. This will be an epic world class BO5 no one should miss, as the pride of SEA goes against the pride of China, to claim the title of Asia champion and qualify to the World Finals.

I don't understand why they don't have at least 2 spots for these regions. (Is there a korean qualifier as well?)

I think both of these guys deserve to be at the global final.

HM, I'm almost sure that they had like 4 or 5 spots for asia. Are those for the Koreans?

ESL stuff up, thought China, Taiwan = SEA as well, then changed to this format, which kinda sucks for the 2 qualifiers.
Good luck to the both of them, however I am rooting for (Z)mOOnGLaDe. GSL and World Champion? I think so :D

Looking at map pool and then at the player races makes me sad ;( Best of luck Gladey anyway!

Would like to see something like 2 KR, 2 China and 1-2 from combined SEA/Taiwan tourney :3

in Season V Global Championship we have:

5 spots for Asia (4 KR + china/sea),
4 Europe(Sjow, White-ra, DeMusliM, Tarson) + 1 morrow,
only 2 for America?

Yes, China and Taiwan had the same qualifier. I think Loner beat Sen in finals.

Gonna be an uphill battle for moonglade with the map pool, but should be an epic series regardless.

gogo Moonglade!

PS: How does the map system work, is it the same as the SEA tournament?

Heres how I genuinely feel.

I think that Moonglade is actually a better player, Loner did absolutely nothing in GSL to impress me and he was getting a lot of hype just because he was the chinese player there. I don't think he's very good. That said I think Loner has a good chance to win just because of the TvZ matchup on the map pool. If it were ZvZ I think Glade would have it, but I hope he can still pull it out. It'll be much closer than people think.

Hunksta, I like how you think :p

But glade won't be complacent I guess, cause Loner did beat Sen 2-0 and it was kind of a total domination.

The biggest problem will be him having jet lag from having to just have landed in Korea and probably no time to practise at all. Maybe he can get Jinro to help him out :p

Is this LAN or online? I can't find the information anywhere. Maybe i'm blind but which server will they be playing on.

And if i'm not wrong, the map will be determined by vetoing out the map pool one by one till 5 maps are left. So out of the 9 maps, Glade will probably veto Steppes and JB while Loner probably Scrap and Sands.

DQ Metal LT Shakuras Xelnaga are decent if dq metal lt are not close positions. Sigh i hate it when the games are majorly determined by the spawning positions.
