I've thought about this, and I think there are a lot of situations where storm dodging is really pointless. Basically in broodwar it was a must or else you'd get crushed, but in starcraft 2 most of the damage is instant and the damage you lose + hits you take while retreating isn't always the optimal response.

perhaps they could have just went on to the next maps while admins tried to recreate the same situation? they did it for quake so they should have done the same for sc2 imo

Frankly I heard many times that Delta Quadrant is good for P in PvT by many commentators, but from what I heard from some protoss players and maps they downvote I have no idea where the idea that DQ is good for P comes from. For me it is one of the most hated maps when I play protoss and I think protoss record on this map is really bad ?

I think if you look at the statistics, it's T favored (like 60/40).

My understanding is that its rly good for pvz and quite difficult pvt due to the short rush distances. Also the back expo is rly nice for pvz imo. Atleast thats how it seems to play out for me.

Never heard that. It's usually considered to be T favored.
