Artosis said that Idra was going to 6-pool on that map, even if Idra was down 1-2, and he said Idra was afraid it would look like a rage strategy if that was the case. But it was pre-planned strategy for JB no matter if it was 2-1 to Idra, or 2-1 to Jinro.

The 6 pool wasent a bad idea, especially on that map and it was very close to being successfull.

It could have also gotten rid of the "Idra never does anything but macro up" aura that everyone says about him, something mentioned by Artosis and Tasteless just days earlier.

I dont know what the man is thinking, but if i would to guess, then Idra regrets the 6 pool the least out of all the decisions he made yesterday, because that Marine almost died and he would have won it.

I don't see Jinro's interview listed where all the others are...they have MKP's from yesterday but not Jinro's?

I agree, I think it makes sense for IdrA to cheese once in awhile, since he has a macro reputation doing it once in awhile might throw off his opponent and might give him an easy win. I just don't think 6pooling is the best cheese he could have done.

The interview has been removed. It was never listed on the GomCam page but people found it by modifying the URL of the most recent interview (which was the link posted above). So it was viewable that way for a while, but now that's been taken down.

The drone rush that's been done in a few tournaments on steps. Would probably have failed even harder than the 6 pool though.

Man, MKP is just a complete magnet for interesting games. Winning with mass marines against banelings. Winning from a clutch marine drop. Winning from a TvT base trade involving floating buildings. I'm excited to see the bag of tricks up his sleeve against Jinro next time. However, I hope Jinro pulls off a win against MKP in what should be a slew of interesting games next round.

Anyways, I agree with most people saying that they were disappointed that Idra vs Jinro didn't turn into several hours of intense macro. Oh well. I'm sure they will play each other many more times in the future. Are they still going to do the Steelseries Europe vs America tournament in the future? If so, I would be excited if they had a rematch.
