So much foreigner fanboyism in here lol...

MVP is taking this thing.

Also lol at people not knowing who Flash is. Idra fans, note that Idra would crap his pants if he ever had to play Flash.

Too bad tomorrow the 4 best players are facing themselves in the code A tourney
Banbansu vs TOP and July vs Bleach (who is not bad, I'd even say good). While the other 4 players are mediocre-average but stil send 2 representants in ro4

i don't know really anything about bw, but wasent mvp a up and coming player who was just starting to get really good, and not just a mediocre player? i feel like people are saying he was bad at sc1 to bash to current level of play in sc2. iv never followed bw i just read about mvp when i read that a BW pro was switching to sc2, so i could be wrong. any one want to confirm or deny this for me. =)

If MVP is supposed to be the best of the best then this game is in a incredible disappointing state, hes basically BBB on steroids. Good to know that the best way to play this game is still doing a one base all in every game, what a pro

compared to other top progamers like flash, jd, stork, bisu, and even most 2200+ elo ateamers, mvp was medicore at best. never went far into sl's, won once in a while in proleague. he showed some good games and even took games once in while off the aforementioned players, including flash in a tvt iirc, which is a feat not many can claim, but it still doesn't make him a "up and coming player". that said, he's definitely the best active bw pro to have switched to sc2. at the time of his retirement his skills were way above the likes of boxer, nada, rainbow, july, etc who have been inactive for a while, and definitely superior to b-teamers like mc, cool, tester, etc

Hahaha I still remember him posting about feeling "sorry" for JD because he had builds prepared against him.

MVP's sc1 pedigree is pretty legit (Top 4 in a starleague is no joke; Idra never even qualified for one)... he's no BBB. You can tell he's legitimately good, because all the korean SC2 players are giving him extreme respect i.e. Nestea (in his gsl interviews) and MarineKingPrime (who called MVP the best terran in his interview). Not to mention his recent success in non-GSL tournies.

You are absolutely retarded if you think you can compare MVP to BBB.

Also, MVP was a rising terran in bw, whose best known accomplishment was taking 1 game off Flash in a bo5. Shows you how far Flash really is.

Sorry if i was comparing someone who scv pulls 2/3 games to someone who does 3/3 games, my bad such a big difference.

this is what happens when a good player plays terran, and not someone who just makes one type of unit all game long there is really no need to play macro when there are so many ridiculously powerful all-ins they can do.

Have you even watched any other games of MVP? I hope you're trolling, else you're just ignorant beyond belief.

Where is this MVP was a rising terran in bw narrative coming from? lol

It is a sad day for TL when people do not know who flash is...

Jinro/Idra are good but i dont think they can beat nestea or mvp.

It's interesting to compare players Peak ELO and their current ELO so we can see who is really 'in form', and actually playing up to his potential (or falling more and more away from it). As expected MVP is currently at peak of his SC2 career so far, but more surprisingly, so is IdrA.

RainBOw and FruitDealer seem to be in the biggest slump of all more prominent players.

Yea that whole unconvincing narrative about MVP you pulled out of thin air has a lot of weight to it.

Whats wrong with the all in game 1 from MVP. Anybody who is a good terran would do the same in that situation/map.

Sorry, I don't mean rising as if he was becoming a bonjwa or anything. Just trying to say he was a better player (a teamer) in bw than most other sc2 players. Put it in the wrong words.

No, you're comparing someone who is really good and has shown multiple styles of play and builds, who most people that even know of starcraft 2 would consider the best terran in the world at the moment, to someone that only knows how to scv all in.

You are definitely right there. He is probably one of the best active pros to switch; he was good enough to play proleague and could take games off anyone.
