This is like if Joey beat Yu-gi before the duel island finals! Sure it was an upset, and people would think that Yu-gi threw the match to help his friend....
But now Yu-gi will never see his grandfather again, AND I BET JOEY FEELS LIKE SHIT, CAUSE THEY ARE FRIENDS AFTER ALL!
That being said, Slayers_Yugioh for Code S.

Those matches were all super-awesome :D! GG!

Season Foureigner
Man I wish Jinro and IdrA didn't have to play each other till end...Both are on fire.

Ummm, you have to remember that thors get locked by the strike cannon. If you have around 8 immortals against say 5 thors, I still think it's a close fight even with strike cannon. The problem was that MC just didn't have enough immortals, I think jinro even had more thors then MC had immortals (correct me if I'm wrong)

I bet I could post a "funny" picture here that 99 % of the people here would be offended about. Would that be wrong?

A lack of sportsmanship would have been him slapping the hand off or snapping at him. The dude just kinda had his world wrecked, and it can be tough to overcome a strong emotional state, even when someone is trying to console you. Let the dude brood a bit. Not many people are gonna be smiling after losing in a tourney that they were heavily favored in. In a lot of sports, not making up after a bout is grounds for disqualification for the entire event. If they were fencing MC would have gotten black carded (kicked out).

It's not a cheapshot at all. They aren't because people would consider it a cheap shot. That's why they wouldn't make it if the situation was reversed. However, because MC is a korean, people are created the edit pictures to get a cheap thrill. People dont want to make fun of MC because he's korean. They're just harmless jokes. No one is calling him a loser or terrible player. They arent trying to slander the guy.
Thats true. But it is very internet-esque. One thing unique to TL is that it maintains a strong sense of community where pros can (and do) come and interact with the internet at large. On most other large sites, they are quickly driven off by trolls and lols.
For example, I would be surprised if Jinro participated in this thread after seeing his compassion being used as a vehicle for internet lols.
This is isn't anon, real people are doing real things here. It'd be nice if it stayed that way.

btw: The observer is doing an _amazing_ job. This is actually so much better than Tasteless following the game, it's not even close.

He was super confident and convinced that he was the best in the world. It's completely understandable that he'd be devastated after getting 2-0'd by a strategy that nobody thought was even viable.

This is the esport where FBH's throwing rice at the guy he just beat and then stripping and dancing around is tolerated (and to many people such as myself, very much appreciated, that was amazing). Being sad about losing and not feeling like talking to the person who just beat you, twice, isn't bad manner or worth berating for.

With all the work GomTV put into the tournament format one would think they could have arranged it so that it wasn't possible for those who met one stager earlier to meet again in the quarter finals, i.e. put Jinro and Idra in groups B and D instead of groups C and D
