Gomtv.com says it's 5 sets and lists the maps so they changed it to BO5 at some point

Its a joke. The posters are not implying the captions have anything to do with the actual situation. We all know what Jinro was really doing.

Exactly, it's just for the lols, no one is seriously implying jinro is there to in any way antagonise him.
Just turning the situation into a humorous one.

I doubt people would make the edited pictures if the situation was reversed. It looks like people are taking cheap shots at oGsMC.

"Cheapshot" implied malicious intent, and I don't see that in any of those pics (as opposed to degrading the match by accusing MC of throwing games). People can have bad sense of humor, why don't you be a bigger man and just ignore it?

If you don't say anything, how will people know it's wrong and in poor taste?

Why is having bad taste in humor "wrong" exactly? It's wrong for you because you don't find it funny, but what place do you have to not let other people have their fun, tasteful or otherwise?

How is disagreeing with someone wrong? How is having a cordial debate wrong?

It isn't. Don't you see?

I'm glad to see that you have come around to see my point of view .

I think you got your logic backwards sir. I was asking why is what they are doing wrong, and now you are asking why is disagreeing with you wrong. Neither the bad humor or disliking/disagreeing with the bad humor is wrong. It's the internet.

It's back to normal 1v1 Bo3 knockout Brackets. No more groups. Whether its Bo3 or Bo5 still needs to be confirmed as Artosis mentioned Bo5 but last time I checked it was Bo3 for Ro8 and Bo5 for Semis and Bo7 for Finals.

Yes I understand he worked hard and that this defeat was crushing for him, but competitors are determined by how they take losses, not how they take wins. Anyone can be agreeable while winning.

A lack of sportsmanship would have been him slapping the hand off or snapping at him. The dude just kinda had his world wrecked, and it can be tough to overcome a strong emotional state, even when someone is trying to console you. Let the dude brood a bit. Not many people are gonna be smiling after losing in a tourney that they were heavily favored in.

In a lot of sports, not making up after a bout is grounds for disqualification for the entire event. Though I do not know the korean tradition so I cannot say what is acceptable.

If they were fencing MC would have gotten black carded (kicked out).

Who's to say what was said in the booth?
MC could have said "GG", "Thanks", "I'll be ok", etc.
Just because he didn't smile and wave or caress his tender gorilla hand doesn't mean he was bming.
Just means that he may have need more than 5-10 secs to gain his composer after losing some important matches.

This is the esport where FBH's throwing rice at the guy he just beat and then stripping and dancing around is tolerated (and to many people such as myself, very much appreciated, that was amazing). Being sad about losing and not feeling like talking to the person who just beat you, twice, isn't bad manner or worth berating for.

This is ridiculous. Why are people getting their panties in a bunch for what MC did or did not do? Watch the games, enjoy them, and leave the "off-the-court" nonsense to the gossipy housewives.

There was nothing remotely BM in MC's actions, at least what was shown on camera anyway. They're friends, they'll get over it but at that time it was pretty sad for MC and he had every right to express that.

Jinro was very happy for MC last season when MC kicked him out. He shouldn't feel bad for kicking his ass this time. He's trained just as hard, and in a foreign country at that.

This "that's so BM" shit is getting out of hand on Team Liquid. I'm relatively new here, but holy fuck, every thread about every tournament is littered with all these retarded BM comments. "Why hasn't he GG'd yet, so BM", "he didnt say gg back, so bm", "omg he went over to the opponent after the game, thats so bm". It makes me cringe, every fucking time.

I felt this way too, I wish I could see it visually. It seems like since everyone was spread out, it'd be possible to make it so everyone was able to be seeded into RO8 on the opposite side of the bracket from each other, any only get double jeopardy in the finals. But I'm not really sure if it's a mistake on GomTV's part in planning, or just an inevitability from the format. Obviously you can't move people around just because they already played, but there might be a way to set it up so this doesn't happen again.

Many can agree, less likely "all." All I tried to say is it's not a "cheapshot" as it is not meant for harm, and you can simply ignore it if you don't like it.

In poor taste, yes. That doesn't mean however that anyone can decide whether or not anyone is allowed to think it's funny.
