Yes I understand he worked hard and that this defeat was crushing for him, but competitors are determined by how they take losses, not how they take wins. Anyone can be agreeable while winning. | ||

And personally I love watching him be so cocky with his finger waves and everything. So many players in SC2 are just so booring... Celebrate and live it up every once in a while. This. SC2 needs some more personality injected into it. The cockiness and "attitude" was all a pretty cool show. From what I have seen, he hasn't been bming or saying offensive stuff (or getting caught playing RPS on ladder. ziiiiiiing), so it's pretty awesome to have a least one dude trying to shake it up and get people involved. It's a shame to see him out in such a fashion, but hopefully he'll train his ass off and wreck some dudes next GSL. Fingerwaves and all. | ||

When Terran goes Mech .. Carriers are important as they wipe out Tanks and are pretty good against Thors combined with Immortals as ground units. The Phoenixes were also there to harrass and pick up tanks in due time. While Void Rays would have been a good alternative, the Marines kind of own Void Rays whereas Carriers & Interceptors keep them occupied better than Void Rays. MC did go for the right comp .. but the failed 4 gate + Jinro's timing of attack was the reason it failed. And even after the first push he still counter attacked and remade a base at the gold but was just too behind to do anything substantial as Jinro came for the kill. What really killed the Carriers wasn't the mech, it was the scouting and the ton of vikings in response .. the Carriers didn't get to do any DPS, if they did the game could have gone differently. The game is still relatively new and new strategies will be evolving ...so it's still arguable about which comp to go in a PvT where T goes mech. But to write off Carriers as a bad counter to Mech is pretty much the same way ppl wrote of Marines against Banelings in a different form. Also the picture caps aren't helpful as you can see how bummed MC was and it's a hard situation to kill a team mate and all that's gonna do is probably effect the friendship Jinro and MC has. I hope it doesn't. Congrats Jinro and good luck against Idra. | ||

with that in mind can't say I'm surprised about the ban hammer and stuff even being retroactive. In fact I'd do the same. One does not simply come into my home and start bashing my mom. while I see some merits in the discussion it will have to continue elsewhere, for obvious reasons. and oh boy, I think it will. | ||

"Cheapshot" implied malicious intent, and I don't see that in any of those pics (as opposed to degrading the match by accusing MC of throwing games). People can have bad sense of humor, why don't you be a bigger man and just ignore it? | ||
