He had knowledge, he was funny, well, he was good at casting. Now he doesn't know the game, he's telling the same sentences over and over, he adds nothing but some funny jokes from time to time. If artosis wasn't there and he was casting alone, teamliquid would riot against gom about them hiring someone incompetent. I respected and loved tasteless a lot before, now he's just a burden with zero added value for the show. I hate to sound like a hater but that's what I feel about him, I'm sure he doesn't play the game, it's not possible. I'm sure he never talk about starcraft or play starcraft, or read about starcraft when he's not paid for it. I'm biting my tongue to stop myself agreeing with you about the depth of Tastless' statistical analysis, often I am not listening too hard but it does seem that he has less genuine insight to offer. However to be perfectly frank I enjoy the casting of Tasteless and Artosis, as a team, regardless. Maybe I do 'just like the funny jokes', I dunno, but I do know that I like what I hear and see, and that's all that matters to me. Each to his own I guess. For the record though I think it's pretty out there to say he doesn't even play the game or care about it. You might doubt his knowledge but I can't see how you can doubt his enthusiasm.

Yesterday during the interview when Artosis called him the Gracken you could actually a small smile poke out. It was almost unnerving to see a look that on IdrA's face that wasn't screaming "fucking nubs" Very technically, it's always been Artosis that screws it up. But since Artosis is on Video/Audio media so much, he's forever caused it to be "eye-Dra" rather than "id-ra".

Except its wrong. and not just on the sqrt(5)i part. There is no sqrt(-5) but there is two solutions to the equation x² = -5. (Similarly: i = sqrt(-1) is wrong too, but i² = -1 is fine.) If you don't get it: sqrt() is a symbol, in order for a symbol to be meaningful it needs a defined value. So don't try to act clever, occasionally it makes you look stupid.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Tasteless BW commentary but he seams to struggle really hard in SC2. Artosis though is getting better and better from season to season from game to game. At first I was really skeptic about Artosis but it all blew away and now im a big fan! I mostly love how he knows so many freaking BOs and hits it just right when everyone else is like "how can he know" and a few seconds later just what Artosis said happens (and it feels like he is almost 95% right with his predictions)!

I've skipped many games already, starting in season 3. And the biggest reason to watch today's matches live was the damn Tester. I wanted to see his triumphant return. But after today I won't likely to watch his games unless his opponents are of my interest.

Oh but I enjoy their casts too. Sometimes a little irritating, I get the impression that tasteless is playing a role, like he doesn't belong here. But I guess you're right about me going too far when doubting his enthousiasm, that was a little too much on my part.

Lockdown is an offensive spell cast by the Terran Ghost which shorts out the target's circuitry, rendering it immobile for 60 seconds. During this time the unit can be attacked, repaired and destroyed, but it cannot return fire, move, or respond to any orders. Lockdown can only be cast on mechanical units (unless in Stasis). Isnt colo mechanical? I can see 2-3 ghosts totally screwing over a few Colo and putting the terran in a massive advantage in a firefight.

To the person who was trying to act all superior and challenge the other dude on the math. I challenge you to explain to me why it is wrong to use sqrt(-5) instead of sqrt(5)i.
