If you look at my post, I've made it clear that sqrt( ) is not a function (except for in a programming sense), and that it's just a (potentially confusing) substitute for writing the radical sign.
That's why I also said it's perfectly fine to SAY (emphasis there) sqrt(-1). And yes, -1 does have a square root, in fact it has 2.
You're also incorrect in saying that you have to limit the domain produce only one value, since the square root of 4 is 2 and -2.

Guys, guys, guys...no need to fight. There is enough of me to go around...

Wow Tester really stepped up even after being out of the last 2 GSLs maybe he will show Toss have a stronger footing than once believed even with MC

Just watched the series. Sorta sad, but no BIG deal. There is always next time around.

Bought premium and watched the vods because I missed it last night.
Pretty entertaining matches. Happy that Nestea and Tester went through (also clean sweep on Liquibet), but also kind of sad there wasn't an epic final match. Verrrrrrry glad that the cannon wall-in is nerfed from now; while its interesting to see if the zergs inevitable all-in will work, it feels cheap.

Sad Boxer lost to NesTea, but the way he lost is encouraging for his showmanship and courage to not be a strategic follower, but rather a leader and risk-taker, which leads to metagame developments and exciting games.

yes, you're right, i probably wasn't even responding to you anyway (posted before i read all the discussion). and by domain i meant codomain but you're right of course.
