Tastosis does a fine job.

I'm sorry that their knowledge of a 6 month old game is not as vast as their knowledge of a 12+year old game that they competed in professionally.

Also, Tasteless seemed REALLY REALLY sick yesterday (didn't watch today's games yet) coughing in the background a lot... I'd give him the benefit of the doubt any day.

i have no problem with Tasteless or Artosis,., i quite like them both,., i can't think of any faces i'd rather see every morning when watching the GSL,.,

@zerious
I think he does,, cause i've heard him from a few years ago,, and he sounds completely different,, although,, i would think you'd have to smoke a SICK amount for it to completely change you though..

Oh, really? I assumed it was patched today, along with the EU server.

From what I understand Greg and Grack are both written the same way in Korean and the Koreans don't really know how to pronounce his name. So yes he called IdrA Grack.

This is the case from what I've heard.

sqrt(-5) has an imaginary value and there is nothing wrong in using that symbol. The term i is given to the imaginary value sqrt(-1) because in certain situations allowing for it permits you to come to results you couldn't otherwise.

To the person who was trying to act all superior and challenge the other dude on the math. I challenge you to explain to me why it is wrong to use sqrt(-5) instead of sqrt(5)i.

sqrt(-5) is wrong because sqrt() is a function defined on the interval [0;+infinity[ by the following :
if a is a number greater or equal to 0, sqrt(a) is the positive solution of the equation x² = a.

So sqrt(a) doesnt exist if a is a negative number. Which is why it's not acceptable to say that i = sqrt(-1) or sqrt(-5) = i times sqrt(5).

This is completely off-topic, but you just made a huge fool of yourself. Let me guess, you just typed sqrt( ) into Google and then copy-and-pasted a description of the function for some programming language.

That doesn't mean sqrt(a) doesn't exist if a is a negative number. It's perfectly acceptable to say that i = sqrt(-1). Earlier programming languages may lack a built-in complex number class, but that doesn't mean it's mathematically incorrect.

It should be noted that mathematically, sqrt is not a function at all since there are two square roots to any number, but we are just writing it out like a function because that's a lot easier than using the radical symbol.

Off-topic but I would say you're wrong. Of course there's no single one math book to go look at for "the correct answer". But by common convention mathematicians never write sqrt and a negative number.

Really off-topic, but I had to to point you guys to the right answer...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imaginary_number

there's a whole unit of math dedicated to sqrt(-1). also, in math you always deal with imaginary numbers. infinity is an imaginary number, as is infinity squared and it's used in maths all the time.
imaginary numbers have essential concrete applications in a variety of scientific and related areas such as signal processing, control theory, electromagnetism, fluid dynamics, quantum mechanics, cartography, and vibration analysis.

anyways... Tester lost a fan in me today. If his unbeatable pvz involves cannon rushing every game then I am certainly not impressed. I was expecting some awesome macro and micro, but it's just a BitbyBitPrime like play.

It kinda pains me to say that because the guy seems nice and he has contributed a lot to the foreign scene in general but yeah, Tasteless is doing a poor job at commentating lately in my humble opinion. Maybe he's bored/tired/slightly depressed/partying too much ? I don't know
(and I'm not by any mean saying that I'd do better that him, especially since I'm not a native english speaker ^_^)

Artosis is doing fine though ... minus some blatant favoritism :p but I don't really care that much about that

Sure, it's even a bit poetic. It just pained me to see Zenio get screwed by pylon block cannon pressure on shitty map positions when every other region has already had that patched out

God bless Tastosis but I must ask -- have you ever seen two people (especially Tasteless) more sick more often? They are constantly complaining about "having colds", etc. Tasteless needs to give up the tobaccy methinks.

I think Tasteless' quality will raise when the new Code A casters are going to be employed, 6 hours of casting live is really tough.

Almost the results I expected. I feel sorry for zenio, if he was in group B or even group C he probably would have gone on.

Nestea and MVP; expected. Shame about boxer but the best two players advanced imo.

I think Boxer is better than Tester and deserved spot over him. He was just quite unlucky, his ideas were absolutely brilliant, just these little details didn`t work out.

As much as I love that nuke plan, one gimick doesn't make him the better player. Tester had really great micro v Boxer and his macro was rock solid. A lot of toss would have lost that match.

His DT play also really seemed to mess with boxer. The fact that during the nuke he was able to destroy the turret in the mineral line AND kill 15 scvs says a lot.

Haven't watched the games yet, but I'm not sure why this only had 56 pages whereas most of the non-foreigner groups had 60+.
