So, Koreans are fun to listen to and all but does anyone know where I can get a vod or replay of Jinro v. Idra? I'm considering purchasing a season ticket and such but once I get back to school the internets shitty and wont be able to get the stream well.

I think Terran just have a lot of people in the Top16 this season because:

1. There were 14 Terrans to start off this competition with. (If you look at it as 5 Terrans, 5 Protoss and 6 Zergs eliminated, it suddenly starts looking a little bit more "balanced")
.

You cant look at it like that... when there are more Terrans from start ofcause there should also be more terrans to go out for it to be "balanced".

64% of the Terrans who did enter made it through.

It's called statistical error... And when the sample size is small, +-10 to 15% error is not that uncommon. If we assume that half of the Terrans would get knocked out, then it's only 2 more players who qualified comparing to the assumption.

Are we going to bitch every gsl, if there is not a 33% winrate of a race? Last gsl there were a lot of zergs, the two gsl's before there were a lot of T's. That is the reason why there are more terran players in code S. This thing has to do with patches and stuff, the balance now looks great. T is stronger on less bases dan zerg. But Z can easily capture more bases without being destroyed.

Du är fan helt jävla sinnessjuk!

Contains 2 curse words (roughly "F*ck, you are completely f*cking insane!"), but no one would react even if a 7-year-old said it in Sweden.

If Im ever on American TV I will try to remember not to, out of consideration, but Im in Korea so...

You are on the Internet. So don't worry about it. "Fuck" isn't even an offensive word. Americans just gave the word a status. Plain ridiculous.

On the other hand, nobody cares when a caster says: "OMG player x just raped player y"

WP Jinro. We all love you for playing good games. You never disappointed us, except against MC. I hope you can get your revenge!

I had a good night of sleep.

I'm wondering if it's possible to watch GSL in HQ from Europe now ?

I bought season ticket for the first 3 seasons but havent really been able to watch it in good quality from Denmark. The speed tests on GOM-site gave me back then 2-300 kbit. When I try to do the test now it doesnt even complete, it just keeps testing and testing and testing with no result so I do wonder, especially after todays matches, if it's possible to get it in HQ now?

@ Chiba, I got myself a premium ticket for the first time this season despite finding SQ stuttered a bit last season for me. Happy to say HQ has been even smoother than SQ was last time around, and I think it seems to be the case that there's been a major improvement for a lot of people in Europe this time around.

These are pro gamers in SC 2? The first thing you practice in a TVZ when you know you're going to wall is your placement to make sure it's correct. I don't see how foreigners are going to last too long against Koreans if they can't take the game even that seriously.

Troll?

A simple mistake determines the fate of foreigners in korea..

under your bridge now please..

If you were to play in a tourney like this, you should have practiced that placement so much There's not many more critical things that that. Have you ever seen a pro gamer fail with their wall in a pro game (BW)? It shouldn't happen. Period.

you should watch flash vs jd game 3 of 2010 wcg finals then, on match point. but flash is just some scrub right?

Wow... Ret is the only one Idra practiced with, I guess all that trash talk vs Koreans is starting to bite him in the ass. =/

Won't be a problem once the EG house gets set up. Those guys are every bit as good as the Koreans

LOL. No. They really aren't.

It's just mindblowing. Makes me wonder how much EG has to fail (as a team, so not only clinging to Idra's individual success) for people to get off hyping their roster which is sub-par even by American standards. =/

Unless they buy a whole new roster, the house in Korea won't do much good.

That's maybe a bit bold statement. It's however clear that idra is byfar their best player, saying they are subpar or worse than koreans however... I think Code A is making it quite clear, there's plenty of room for foreigners in there, and the best in code S.

This is the beginning of the first round of code A. I think it will go way uphill from here, once all the lesser players get weeded out.

Its funny but Code B prelims are going to be INSANELY tough I think, there are a really high number of extremely strong players that just werent good enough for GSL 1, 2, 3 or got unlucky in the prelims to the last one etc.

Like, ST_Bomber is one of the best terrans in Korea right now but hes never even been in GSL and there are lots of others like him.

I'd love to have a subtitled version of the Korean version of Idra v Jinro, or really any of the games they played today. Always wondering what they are saying about the foreign players, especially the ones that are now code S (up there with the Koreans so to say)

Such an awful series.

Im pretty sure they ignore enemy units always, and just target the PF ;o Maybe Im just an idiot.
