To the Americans butthurt over a swearword. The reason to why Jinro swears is because he dossent live in a country which bans words. Guess what, you cant ban our words, deal with it.

Would you cut it out. Give the imbalance map whine a rest, we are all well aware of it. Those Code S games were crazy, I stayed up for it even though work was 2 hours away by the time it finished. So happy both Idra and Jinro advanced, I had a feeling that ensnare was going to sneak in their and steal a position. Incredible games too.

VODs have to hurry up, I'm waiting. The results of Group H couldn't be more perfect. Also, I'm offended by the lack of swearing by the commentators during epic moments. What if a child was watching a moment that really needed a loud "WHAT THE FUCK!?", and then didn't hear it. That child is robbed.

The answer is yes. Of course. TV? This is internet only right? I mean, it was made for porn, I think we can handle a little swear-word ![]() True, but swearing on TV is perfectly accepted in Sweden. i think its accepted everywhere except america^^ Canada too. Not that I have anything against swearing, but it does complicate things if I try to get people like my 10 year old cousin into eSports. Why? How is it a big deal if a 10 year old hears the word fuck? Because it's less socially acceptable to swear publicly in the US and Canada. You can argue about the etymology and significance all you want, but it's simply a different culture. Changing the way someone thinks on a website is not the same as changing society at large. Not going to argue about Jinro and swearing, but this whole discussion just reminded me of smth funny that happened last month ( related ofc). I work in an international company in R&D and had a meeting with someone important from the US operation branch. He was swearing like every two sentences. Did not say anything ( and did not care much) but in France its pretty rare ( and pretty much unacceptable) to swear in a working environnement ^^. So yeah, really different culture ![]() EDIT : Oh and I migth just add it here : Amazing games today !!!! Gratz to both Jinro and Idra for advancing and entertaining us so much ![]()

Also, the whole swearing debacle is absolutely ridiculous. Check out Stephen Fry's thoughts on swearing, pretty much sums up everything I think about it.

Are the ads that annoying? How many ads are in each game, and how are displayed? Thanks in advance. Of the impression there are no Ads yet, but I don't know, my schedule leaves me up this late with time, so I can just watch live.

Don't know if there is a better place to ask but can you pay with something else than a credit card through paypal? I have money on my account but when I go to pay I can only choose my credit cards (and not of them works for some reason).

I don't know if they get a seed in the next gsl, but they will surely be class S and get to ro32 (if the format is the same) Guess work: Probably 2 ro16 class s:ers will be in each ro32-group, and 2 "new" class s players from up and down-matches. The ro16-class S player will probably face a "new" class s player in the first match, so that's what the seed is. edit: On January 12 2011 00:25 CanucksJC wrote: incredible games tonite. interview of jinro and idra from playxp can be found here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=181265 thanks a lot!

Leenock lost to Genius and Rainbow on Shakuras and Xel'naga Caverns. TheWind lost to HongUn and Boxer on XC and Metalopolis (and IIRC, cross positions). Check lost to Ensnare on Shakuras FD got himself eliminated with the spinecrawler positioning error against MVP and a poor game against Zenio (and that also would've meant he went through in place of another Zerg.) All these maps are incredibly balanced. The only guy who can genuinely complain is Kyrix I think, because he got pylon walled in on Steppes (IIRC). Only 3 Zergs going through is hardly because of unbalanced maps. As for the Bo1 system, OSL, MSL and WCG do it for the group stages of SC1 and no one ever complains. To be honest, I prefer this system better than OSL or MSL's system. It's got a unique twist to it.

Think about the group stage formats and seedings. Groupstage 1 Seed 1-8 in each group marked as Player A Seed 9-16 (ro16 3rd and 4th place finishers) marked as Player C Seed 17-32 (winners of Up and Down matches) marked as Players B and D. So obviously the ro16 next season is going to be player C atleast or player A. So yes 2 players of ro16 can be in same groupstage next season but it's always going to be 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th for player a and c spots. This means Jinro and IdrA will not be able to meet eachother in groupstage as well as they won't be able to meet the other ro16 finishers. For the season after that (gsl6 or gsl sponsorship 3) rating of previous seasons can be used as 1st season everyone had 0 ratings to start with. Edit: Actually Jinro and Idra can meet with eachother in 1st groupstage next season if 1 of them advances to ro8 and other doesn't. Then they are going to be assigned a player A and player C spot.
