Pretty entertaining matches for the most part in Code S today though, and the next rounds are really shaping up to be awesome!

I'm no maths grad so sorry for the bad example but: e.g. inf/exp(inf) = 0 by that reasoning some infinities are `greater' than others. I'm also pretty sure that last time I spoke with a maths grad they were telling me that there's much more formal ways to prove that's the case. That literally doesn't mean anything. You can say that limit x/exp(x) as x->infinity = 0 but not inf/exp(inf)=0. But Artosis is right there are different infinities, considering cardinalities. cardinality of the naturals being countably infinity while for the reals it's uncountably infintite.

I'm also pretty sure that last time I spoke with a maths grad they were telling me that there's much more formal ways to prove that's the case - iirc it had something to do with defining number spaces. Of course there are greater infinities than others. There are an infinite number of real numbers (R) and an infinite of integers (N) but card(R) > card(N)

I'm also pretty sure that last time I spoke with a maths grad they were telling me that there's much more formal ways to prove that's the case. Its all about limits. Think about the two functions f(x)=X and f(x)=x^2. Intuitively you know that x^2 gets bigger faster, so if you consider x^2 going to infinity and x going to infinity both of these eventually become infinity but X^2 is a bigger infinity. (going to infinity meaning X becoming closer and closer to infinity) That's my simplistic explanation from a engineering student thats awful at math. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limit_(mathematics)

I find the jokes really good actually, it would seem pretty bland just talking about starcraft, moments of randomness helps out a lot. Air Force One impersonation was perfect though haha.
