imo this only really shows that living and playing in a team house makes you sooo much better. I bet that if the europeans could practice under the same circumstances as their opponents today, the matches would have gone differently.

I thought he did just fine. Were you expecting Daytosis 9 or something? Ipp has improved a lot since i last saw him 2 months ago.

I dont think it matters if hes improved, he's still awful.

I'd say he is about equal to them. They arent the best casters/commentators out there, to be honest.

Note: They are good, but not the best.

if they wernet all star? what happened to players who lost to them? white-ra???? dimaga???
all lost to these 4 guys.. does europ have any better players than them?

Europe does have better players, in Korea unfortunately (Ret, Jinro).

Those who played were some of the best from EU for sure, maybe not the best of best but in the top.

Other then MC the players who played from korea were not the best from korea as well.

there is maybe 2 other protoss as good as mana atm, and judging from recent results mana is slightly ahead of them(whitera and socke) both were knocked out in groups, and there is 3 other terrans as good as sjow, naama and strelok,(demuslim, bratok and kas) 2 were knocked out in groups, that was definitely the best europe had to offer in terms of who is still on the continent

All this tournament shows was that sjow needs to join select and mouz needs to setup a korean house:D

Remove Demuslim (seems to be out of shape), add Tarson and Brat_OK for Terran. Then there's of course Dimaga and Morrow from Zerg. Overall it's a very strong team from EU, but there are many different teams from Korea that could repeat this feat. And a legion that could beat this team, although not so convincingly. And an even larger group that is on its level. Korea is stronger, whether you like it or not. Of course if we had the real EU allstar team, we'd have Jinro, Ret and possibly Haypro playing.

Strelock probably had the best chance out of them all to advance over Zenio, too bad none of the non-GSL players made it through.

No offense to the Eu players but the GSL Invitee's just made less errors . It is no surprise because every notable GSL player is in a pro-house and play lots of practice games with each other so not only will they see one build X times in a row but after each game the opponent will give advice on how to handle it. Seriously, even if Strelok was making mistakes - it was miraculous how Zenio defended attack after attack in Game 2.

Edit: Actually i take that back, I don't think Ret really let MaNa make a single mistake. His play was just extraordinary and countered everything MaNa did.

On another note for the few people complaining. It was open casting, after 2 days of no English stream I stepped up and took off work; it isn't easy getting 4 days off in a corporate environment for video games. Just be happy there is an English stream, for everyone else who has no problems; thanks for watching - I got the go ahead to take off Wednesday and Thursday so I'll definitely be streaming the rest of this!

Anyone was free to cast this. The guy from ragequit set work aside just to be able to cast this early in the morning over there. Before saying anything else, you should thank him.

Idd, im normally one to criticise people for being clueless while casting or w/e but in the case ipp did a really great job providing a stream for a really stacked tournament when no one else would

I enjoyed the casting too, but the obs was average imo, a lot of thing missed, but I guess he can train that.

Care to say what I missed? I know I probably missed some things but without knowing what I can't improve. I know I missed a single drop in the Strelok v Zenio on Xel Naga Caverns, but to be fair there must of been a hatchery falling every other minute and I don't have a cocaster looking around the map for this type of stuff.

Also I changed my scroll speed down before today's cast hoping it makes it less jittery. Any complaints against that?

That drop was in my mind too Sometimes a fight begins, you have the screen there, then you go elsewhere (top vs sjow on LT, a fight north east of the upper xelnaga, this one "shocked" me because you were obsing the 2 army closing each other, and as soon as the fight begins you go elswhere looking random base stuff for what seemed at that instant a very long time relativly). You made that a couple more times, but I don't remember exactly in wich instances.

I enjoyed your stream anyway, but sometimes your obsing was frustrating (I'm not exagerating here, I was actualy yelling at my screen :D). But you can just train that as I said.

I do that in TvTs to show tank placements to see if counter attacks are possible. It was a request that I may have overdone. Also as I stated before I just changed my scroll speed so it's harder to bounce. I'll up it some. If you watch tomorrow, you shouldn't need to yell (hopefully).

Don't worry, I love your voice and even if the obsing has frustrated me a couple times, it's far from a big deal Keep up the good work. I actualy tried to cast some days ago, just alone, speaking and obsing to see how hard it is, and I found it's not easy to be perfect, we're spoiled by the perfection of broodwar observers (and by GSL korean observers too)

I don't think Top really outplayed SjoW overall, so I don't think the talent differential was very magnified in that match. SjoW totally outplayed him game 1, didn't build enough tanks in game 2 and got unlucky on the mirror in game 3.

MC vs Naama was a joke, though and so was ret/mana

Please stop using 'GSL' to mean KR region or korean pro SC2 players. GSL is just a league.
