Totally agree man. He has neither commentating skill nor observing skill

I wouldn't say nowhere. These were really good players and easily top 3 in EU for their races. Maybe not allstar but not THAT far off.

Strelok and Zenio were playing on the same level, could have gone either way. SjoW dominated TOP in game 1 and TOP also has been beaten by EUs before. MC is OP vs Terran. Zenio was lightyears ahead in macro in both games, it looked really like a walk in the park for him. TOP lost g1 cuz he just did nothing and lost lol, g2 & g3 showed how superior in mechanics, control TOP is
Strelok had windows of opportunities to take G3 before Zenios macro got crazy.
In G1 TOP was harrased into being passive, and then when he finally got the opportunity to be aggresive SjoW was miles ahead.
Yet even with his superior mechanics and control TOP lost to Naama and Fenix in DH. If Naama can beat him, other EU-terrans like SjoW, Kas, Strelok, BratOK etc definitely also can. Not to mention Jinro, but that goes without saying.

Players lose, shit happens. Doesn't make them an all-star team. These players were very nervous and it really showed.
It's the same thing with the EU vs US tournament. It's 4-2 to EU now but that doesn't mean that EU just domanites US or are ahead skill-wise. There was few US players that I though would win easily but sometimes these things happen.
You can't really say they are the all-star based on one tournament. They aren't bad players, not at all. Just not the top dogs in my opinion at least.

Europe does have better players, in Korea unfortunately (Ret, Jinro).

I must admit that I find it extremely hilarious that only the GSL invitees advanced. :D

These games were rather disappointing in that none of the Europeans did really play to the best of their ability, and because of that it was hard to really see how much ahead in skill the Koreans actually are, though they were obviously the better players.
The European players all made very basic mistakes that I am sure they rarely make in practice. Probably they were too nervous because they rarely have the chance to play the top Korean players. I think if such events happened more often the foreigners would eventually get accustomed to that and would be able to show their true potential.

Those who played were some of the best from EU for sure, maybe not the best of best but in the top.
Other then MC the players who played from korea were not the best from korea as well.

Don't blame European guys too much. Nothing unexpected happened Also it was obvious how all of them (except Sjow) were nervous making unnecessary mistakes.

He misses some things but to be honest most casters do, I've seen Tastosis miss plenty of things and they'r with 2 people watching instead of one. Personally I'm generally quite annoyed by his accent, but not by his actual commentary.

I'll agree with that. I just hope we'll see more tourneys of this nature in the future. It really spikes up the hype.

poor naama getting ripped apart by mc.. to me it looks like he took some time studying mc's play based on the thor rush on metalopolis. (counter to vray/stalker pressure) i honestly thought he had a chance that game.. but then again... this is mc were talking about..
and btw: awesome line up of EU players, and great to have some of the GSL pro's participate as well.. it seems that the liquid/ogs "relationship" really is starting to show as this is already the 2nd time (i think) KR players participate in EU tournaments! keep up the good work
