I'm pretty sure that if Strelok, Sjow and MaNa were in a proteam, they would have won. It's just a matter of proper training and top practice partners. Just watch Ret's replays before he left to Korea. He was no different than those three (perhaps even worse than them). You just can't reach the top on your own. Whole team has to work for your success and you have to work for their success. That's how it works.

Well I don't think Ret is a good example. It was known as the best foreign Zerg for a long time and just had tons of talent. He would be amazing regardless. His rate of improvement was showing this before he left to go to Korea. I mean "no different" yet has only really played for a month and a bit?

Yes those 3 would be better, would they win? Who knows.

Sjow v. TOP and Strelok v. Zenio were actually pretty damn close.

I love both :D Endrey is great if he's in his top mood and conceentrating, but ipp i guess is more consistent with good commentary.
Edit: fixed typo's!

Before he left, he had great mechanics, but used to lose a lot against timing attacks, cheeses etc.
Just like every top foreign zerg does. I don't see why are you so sure that he would have become much better than them without going to Korea.

Let's focus on today's games and stop arguing about Foreign vs Korean . There are some damn good games today.

Agreed, this event deserves much more hype...I mean, Zenio vs Top? Hello? This could be GSL top 8 the very least.

I'm so stoked to see Ret v MC! Zenio v Top is great aswell obviously, but as PvZ is more my match-up of interest and... well Ret is a dutchie I just can't wait =)
I'm a man of my word, and that word is "unreliable".
