Instead of killing the drones like they would normally do, they target the closest drone (the one making the extractor) but hit the extarctor and do no damage. And that's how Slush won... That's a very gosu/interesting tactic, thanks for posting it, hopefully I'll remember to employ it after 4 games of losing drones to hellions and cursing myself for not extractor trick#2'ing (being realistic)

And yes they fail often- it's a good idea to make something other than marines.

You basically need the whole wall to be either barracks/factory or command center. Bunkers are nice but still susceptible.

I'm still surprised the banelings got through every single layer. I expected he would at least have to take down a bunker with lings or something.

You need a two thick production wall with tanks on the way :-\ It just comes down to sim city.

Also you could tell from the start that he went into the game with the strat "I will baneling bust him this game". Fast gas before´pool. Guys staying on gas and adding baneling nest before he had even seen a marine.

Most terrans would have marauders or siege tanks with siege mode out in that time, but busting is usually done to punish a terran cheese. A pure baneling bust from the start? Fails a LOOOOOOOOOT.

Odd that you see a tournament like this having very few well known players and the well known players not performing, let's say, "optimally". This was probably why (at least I think) that this EG masters had less viewers than the last for the initial day. I'll be eagerly awaiting the games later today as I clock out at 3.48am. I'd like to thank team Evil Geniuses for bringing us the tournament along side the great casting by the 'D' duo.

Great entertainment from players/games, better product placement of a "gaming laptop" instead of a "nice sound laptop" to appeal to the viewers and about the same if slightly improved production value.
