Ret is A class now. People talking about S Class is talking about the group compositions. On that note, I was a little disappointed to see Idra and Jinro in the same group as well, but also I'm pretty confident it could be two of them that advance from that group. But, as for group F, I was quite a bit disappointed because they decided to put 3 oGs guys together in the same group, as well as 3 protoss players, when there are groups that has no protoss at all.

Personally I don't mind seeing Jinro and Idra in the same group. Those two facing off should be exciting.

omg group F and group H are very bad , i think.
in group F are 3 of 4 oGs Members! (and 3 protoss players , too) in group H are 2 of 2 Foreigners!
why do they do that?!

Pretty obvious how they did the Code S groups 1 (1-8) in each group 1 (9-16) in each group 1 (17-24) in each group and 1 (25-32) in each group.

Is there a link to watch the VODs even if they're not in english?? The link on the OP just gives the option to see it live...

would have preferred if GOM cooked up the S class groups
it seems they stuck to randomizing them

It was a seeded randomisation by rank, so each group has members of strongly differing ranks.

Omg, Ret almost didnt make it. So close.

HAHah ...and I thought ret would DESTROY his grp x.x
anyway, great job advancing out of tiebreaker

For the record, they didn't "decide" any of this. There was a drawing. After the first season, there will be seeds, but this was the most fair way to do it this time...even if it lead to some unfortunate groups.

Exactly my point. It will be very interesting to see them fight out who is the best foreigner in the GSL.
Plus, this way there is higher chance of at least one of them going though to the next round.

btw, this might be totally the wrong place to say this, but what the hell is the last song they play before the GSL stream starts? (the kpop with a guitar as a speedometer lol).
anyone know?

Wow Ret barely makes it in, and had to rely on others losing their own matches to squeak in. Were his games streamed? Wonder if he got cheesed.
|
Kind of sad with Idra and Jinro being in the same group. ): Would hate it if one would knock the other down. xd
