The second TeamSpeak TeamLiquid SC2 Open (and #5 overall) kicks off this Saturday, Dec 04 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00). This tournament will have a $200 prize pool and will be be held on the US Battle.net server. The early rounds will be cast by commentators like Ragequit and Wolf, and the semifinals and finals by Chill and djWHEAT.
You can follow the action by checking out the streams to the right below the calendar, and follow the tournament bracket here. An official cast for the semi-finals and finals will be held after the earlier rounds have finished.
As the name suggests, the TL Open is open to anyone with a US StarCraft 2 account. Past TL Open finalists include Select, Strelok, Lalush, AhhBoxxah, Optikzero and Nerchio. If you missed some of those matches, check out TL's YouTube Channel for the previous casts, including the first TeamSpeak TL SC2 Open.
This will be the second of 12 TL Open tournaments sponsored by TeamSpeak, who have also provided us with a TeamSpeak 3 server for the community to use. The initial TeamSpeak TL SC2 Open Series announcement can be found here, and includes some words from TeamSpeak's Peter Kirk.
Registration will remain open until 30 minutes before the event start. Previous TL Open events have always had plenty of room even if the 512 confirmed spots are taken - if you sign up for the waiting list and check-in early, you are pretty much guaranteed to get in. To register, check the TL SC2 Open #5 tournament page for rules, maps and other information.

for those who didnt get in, might consider the scii tourney - 2 that i am running on http://scii.challonge.com/
watching tlo play this way is really disappointing. also seeing him not develop mechanics (like actually using more than 2 control groups even though he's been saying for a while he should), it's kinda...unprofessional?

I don't know about you, but he seemed pretty good with his multitasking when I reffed for him. Many backstabs that involve more than one control group, sending lings to attack workers with half his army while the other half kills the units.
LOL. Poor dde he thought he had it and he really did. He just have too much space to TLO and pretty much stopped playing. Poor, poor guy. Especially after the manner OC

He isn't practicing yet he is healing his injury so could be a while till you see a significant difference in mechanics.

Well, he also beat Ret with cross positions on Meta.
Wasn't it close air positions? That's what I'm remembering, though I'm not certain that I'm remembering correctly. Either way, though, he still won there.

It was 12 vs 6. The game was a pretty successful but not devastating 2 rax into a pretty successful but not devastating marine/hellion into mech, pretty similar to game 3 except where the push wins the game and ret makes roaches instead of mutabaneling
Kyhol on metal was the same as Kyhol on Steppes if you missed it. He just has a really nice transition of Korean 2 rax into fast orbital into double blue flames into siege/thor mech. So it is a constant wave from bio into full mech...it's pretty strong on all maps except Scrap.

Its a 2 Rax FE with CC before 2nd Depot that expands at blue flame. Not suicidal all-in pressure. :-\
Yeah, he didn't even engage with Marine/SCV in the Steppes game.
Those Hellions though...
But yeh, I kind of saw this coming after the first game as well as after the pro GG by Kyhol on Scrap. Ret never seemed fully in the match, and Kyhol looked extremely confident.
