Tyler is undoubtedly aware of this obvious fact. Note, just because a player is very good does not necessarily mean that they are a perfect strategist. Tester has had some superb micro and decision making in tough spots - he is most famous for his force field splits/cheese defense/etc. However, we many top players are renowned for one superb strength and for weaknesses in other areas. For example, BoxeR was notoriously strong on micro while 'weak' on macro, but still considered a top progamer in his time. If I read him correctly, Tyler is commenting on Tester's particular execution of a Korean groupthink PvT colossus/phoenix build which he's surprised is still even around. Apparently Tester's other skills saved him, but with a more efficient build strategy his play could have been devastating.

At least I stated why I'm not impressed by Tyler, he hasn't accomplished anything near what Tester has. Simple fact. But my simple fact is the dick one. Except yes, Tyler has probably accomplished as much as Tester. It's not a "simple fact", learn some BW history man.
