It all comes down to spawn positions on some of these maps. I feel the series could definitely go either way.

NesTea aka Zergbong hes just to solid.

look at his record, look at all the games he play, dude has flawless execution and timing, and make his opponent pay big time for small mistakes.

Who I want to win: Foxer
Who will probably win: Nestea

It's hard to go into this finals with the same level of excitement as GSL1. Nestea hasn't lost a game yet and is definitely solid, but his play doesn't stand out as remarkable in any way. Foxer is exciting to watch, but seeing how much trouble Kyrix gave him, I don't think he stands a chance a gainst Nestea.

Ptff, Boxer showed true skill through both god like micromanagement and great macro. His timing attacks against Fruitdealer indicate high level understanding of the game.

ZergBong represent the perfect standard play that the Zerg is meant to be. He is the representation of how Zerg is meant to be played at all matchups and against all attacks.

Boxer's style is quite unique in itself. Kyrix's aggression v.s. aggression did not work out, while Fruitdealer's passive eco heavy early game also failed. ZergBong can potentially represent something in between. I highly anticipate this series.

Until the GSL2 final is over, I am going to refer Boxer here as just "Boxer", instead of "Foxer". He represents my hope for Lim-Yo-Hwan. Perhaps his victory will symbolize a sign of progression, the new Boxer over the old Boxer (for now). At least a victory under Boxer's name will serve to rally more fans than a ZergBong victory.

Foxer has played better than any other player in the tournament and has only gotten better every game. His micro vs Kyrix was 10 times as good as his Ro32 game vs fruitdealer. I can only see him being even more impressive in the final.

Zergbong has done very well in the GSL of course too, but try reviewing some of his games. You'll see he almost always wins because of silly errors from his opponents. He's good at taking advantage of mistakes and he's solid in his play, but I don't think this will be enough to let him beat Foxer.

Whoever wins, is going to have to do something extraordinary and I just don't see Zergbong doing that.

Foxer 4-0

Excuse me, I guess this might be a silly question especially since I registered just to ask this but, I could have sworn.. didn't Tastosis say that it's best of 9?

If any zerg is going to take FoxeR down right now, it's ZergBong and I definitely believe he will. He's so extremely solid, so consistent. I'm not one of the haters of FoxeR, he's good, but he relies SO much on a certain tactic which while he might execute it perfectly etc, has weaknesses. Hopefully ZergBong will be the first one to really expoit that. While I think it will be 4-2 for ZB, I could even see him win 4-0 depending on how good FoxeR REALLY is.

All right, where does it show that it's best of 7? I think the reason I thought it was best of 9 is because at one point they were discussing map selection and they stated that in the finals the players could not eliminate any maps because it was best of 9 so everyone had to know each map etc.

LOL, all these people saying "OLOLOL NESTEA BUILDS TEH INFESTOR AND GETS FREEWIN" . No. Foxer specifically said that he has practised well against infestors and that his strategy works because of energy limitations of infestors. Its not as if foxer waits for 10 minutes and then pushes with one MMM ball. He keeps constantly streaming small amounts of units and forcing zergs into lots of confrontations and dropping all over the map. You cant make enough infestors to combat such endless aggression, because they will keep running out of energy, and infestors are really gas intensive, which means lesser bling/muta.

/Gloat : I was one of the few guys who predicted Foxer to do well even after his terrible performance in RO64. So glad to see him reach the finals. You dont get to the top of Korean ladder by being terribad

Now gogo Foxer, win the entire thing .

BoxeR struggled against Kiryx who proved to be a very bad and clueless player, making only banelings and baneling bust and suiciding mutas like any 2k zerg on EU or NA server. I don't see him winning against ZergBong at all.

So Fruitdealer is a 1.8k zerg on EU because he lost to Foxer? Get real man.
