The thing is, Apollo doesn't know "that" much and always wants to appear over-the-top professional. Sometimes you could even hear it in the voice of day9 that he felt like rebuking Apollo for having said something incorrect. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel Apollo is a bad caster, but he is neither extremely competent nor highly entertaining. TotalBiscuit on the other hand is just plain hilarious, he doesn't make a secret out of not having the most knowledge but simply comments on what's going on in a very funny way. Tbh I take "clueless but funny" over "knows the game in general but boring" any day. I mean, I know the strats anyways so unless the commentator with a high in-debth knowledge explains something very specific, I don't need basic strategical analysis. | ||

Couldnt care less about the knowledge of the caster as long as the obsing is ok. I dont need someone to explain the game to me. And the caster wil be SchickySC if you guys would care to read the OP. | ||

Guess that's down to personal opinion. I'd much rather hear Apollo. I find totalbiscuit about as funny as gonorrhea. Plus Apollo is always with Day9, and I actually find Day9 funny. When I watch SC2, I want to hear the casters opinion on the game at hand first and foremost. What the fuck input does Totalbiscuit give? He just talks shit. But I guess you're not really arguing my point anyway, you're just stating how you feel. Personally I mute my stream instantly as soon as totalbiscuit comes on. | ||

At dreamhack I was reluctant to go to the main stream with Day9 after hearing Biscuit casting a few matches. He might not have the highest analysis skills, but his play-by-play is way better than d.apollo. So pair him with Day9 for insight and that would be awesome. | ||
