Not to mention him saying he went down to the oGs-TL B-team due to his TvZ post-patch(if i understood him correctly). So many games I wish we could've seen today, but the games we saw were really awesome...

Not really, since I hope no one is really trying to storm those thors the HTs kill banshees, marines, marauders and to lesser extend hellions. zlots kill thors well.

Being 4 gas geysers up is probably a lot bigger reason for how the game went, than we are taking into account, but I'd def say transitioning into VR was not smart after he lost his core colossi army(phoenix with colossi is decent since they waste the vikings time away from the colossi). In any case, if they were getting similar gas income, PU wouldn't really have threatening amount of banshees _and_ thors, a mix of both or all of either, which the toss has units that can handle.

exactly how much temps do you expect P to get in a battle each time? storming their entire marines/marauders and you expect none of those storms to hit any thors at all? and STILL have enough energy to feedback/storm all those banshees while again not having any storms being soaked by thors? while at the same time avoiding being obs sniped by a few vikings?

How many units do you expect the terran to have? just reducing the sizes to what I expect of 1 base(since 2 base, 3 base, 4 base is just extension of one base with quicker reproduction), HTs and zlots work well vs all those units(actually I'd expect the terran to mix a few ghosts in, when the HTs are out).

The terran doesn't have endless gas, on 4 base, he can produce around 1 thor/6banshees(per 60s), 2 thors/4banshee, 3thors/2banshees, 4 thors, 8 banshees. The toss can produce 5-6 HTs(per 60s).

i dont understand what your point is. is this a ht vs thors/banshees battle without zeal/marine numbers?

It pretty much is. rines and zlots are to some extend cannon fodder.If anything the zlots have a bit easier time fighting, since they just run straight into the thors, while the rines have to run away from the storms or die en mass. In any case, this is a stupid debate, but linkie is a bit interesting new thor playstyle, where people have been talking about these kind of builds and theri weaknesses)

Edit: Though reading your comments, I wish people were as good stormers as you, not being able to cast storms on the bio because they were somehow forced to storm the units that can survive it the best.

yes because all T's are going to place all their thors as far away from the marines/banshees as possible, correct?

Out of all the people who have been impressive this MLG, he's by far the most impressive imo. I expected him to maybe go to round 3 (I was really hoping for what he achieved, though.) but he proved everyone wrong and played extremely well.

I'm really thrilled that he's performed this well.
