SlayerSBoxeR said he was disappointed too because he didn't get to show his transition, which he did in future games.
Apart from regular fanboy-ism, there's also this rampant and irrational fear of early pressure going around. People call Foxer a cheese and "all-in" simply because he applies early pressure and often wins. Ignoring the fact that he never lets his macro slip and expands aggressively.
I guess some people are biased against micro because it can't be learned by rote like multi-base macro.

The amazing thing is that Foxer has had such an incredibly difficult run to the finals, but made his opponents look like scrubs every single time.
Let's not forget who he has taken out here:
Fruitdealer (winner GSL1) Sangho (one of the top 4 protoss players around alongside Genius, Tester and Inca) ITR (runner up GSL1)
3 of the best players of their respective races have all been made to look bad against him.
Not only that but he beat Kyrix as well, who has a totally different zerg playstyle to Fruitdealer.
This kid is such a baller and probably deserves to win the tournament based on what we have seen of him so far. I really don't see a zerg player beating him and I think his play is more solid than SlayerS_Boxer at the moment.

I think foxers weakness would be an aggressive zerg like Kyrix, who uses infestors as well as banes/lings.

or at least uses banes/lings well. Wasn't exactly blown away by Kyrix' placement or micro

Did you really just say Foxer's weakness would be a zerg like Kyrix?
Lol?

A Boxer vs Boxer final would be so epic. The prize would be keeping the name, lol

Foxer is like top of korean ladder, right?

I think FoxeR's weakness could be hidden banelings.
It would work probably once cuz he can take the reactor-Starport for medivacs and add a Tech lab to it to make a Raven but that one time could be fatal (like taking out a lot of marines).

You perhaps didn't notice that Foxer was within an inch of being eliminated by Kyrix then, who is a relatively mediocre zerg player by GSL standards. He was also nearly eliminated in the Ro64 by another really mediocre zerg. In that series Foxer played AWFULLY. His other TvZ, against fruit dealer, he rock paper scissor'd Fruit Dealer twice when FD decided to FE and drone up greedily. You'd have to assume newcomers won't attempt that against Foxer knowing what they know now. So yeah, I don't think it's unreasonable to put serious question marks over Foxer's TvZ.

You do know that 1 less mistake by Kyrix and we wouldn't be having this discussion? I'm not convinced he would have done better with infestors. I would love to see a rematch. Except in TvT, I think the aggressor has the advantage in SC2 because of the micro potential, smaller maps, and sick dps w/ hard counters instead of BW's soft counter system.

BoxeR vs BoxeR final.. yea,, winner take the name !

It may be flawed game design, true. But I think Blizzard is slowly realizing the same thing. That's why they keep nerfing cheeses, build times, and dps. Why don't they buff much? Because it'll just make the game end faster.

All the hate of Foxer is because he stole a legend's nickname. Even SlayersBoxeR himself admitted that Foxer plays better than him at this moment.
Look guys, I know it's blasphemy for fanboys and all, but at least the guy is living up to the name.
