If Gom wants to enforce ownership of their tournament by stopping rebroadcasts let them by all means. That's their responsibility, not yours.
Personally if it wasn't for restreams I wouldn't have seen a single live game, whereas TV shows and movies are purely torrented out of convenience. So which sickens you more, and would you like a link to the Dexter thread so that you can let them know too? Because UFC, TV shows, movies are all a very rentable business that we don't care about. And esport is a hardly rentable business that we care about. I doubt GSL is rentable, I'm pretty sure it's pretty far for being rentable, in a industry for which we care (esports) So of course we don't care about pirating everything else but esports, makes sense to me.

I play toss but Genius's losses didn't have much to do with race imbalance
Opening void rays is always a risky/all-inish kind of build. Even though he won game 1 (caught rainbow offguard by making so many VRs - he could have easily made vikings) you can't complain about imbalance when his VR rush did no damage and then he lost.
The thor timing push was eh. Its pretty rough to stop when its executed that well but its not impossible. I just chalk that up to ITR executing a build very well and Genius not being ready for it (he had no idea about the proxy factory or the armory)
The last game with the nexus snipe at the third.. PvT protoss is the reactionary/defensive race until late game. You have to have good scouting/map vision and be in the right places for drops or pushes like that. Genius didn't do a very good job of it and got caught horribly out of position. You really have to invest in having probes/spotter pylons everywhere and multiple observers to deal with Terran abusing drops/bio mobility.
I really don't understand why so many protoss go for the VR builds. I know in a long series you want to maybe catch them off guard and get a free win but come on. I was disappointed when Tester did it vs ITR in GSL1 and Genius doing it twice too.
I hate the blind blink stalker rush too. That build is only good against no gas FEing terran or 1-1-1 going tanks/thors. It loses to early banshees, it loses to 3 rax, it loses to gas FE with marauders... its just not good against most of the common builds.
Its true that terran has a lot of all-inish builds that don't have direct counters but thats just how the matchup is. PvT is all about surviving timing pushes and dealing with drops/harass until you can get to heavy T3.
edit: EMP is really really strong in mid-game pushes. especially one base all-in pushes. later in the game once protoss comfortably has T3 up its not imbalanced at all

The official stream always caps out so restreams are necessary. Once GOM has the bandwidth to support 700,000 connections whenever Boxer plays, then restreams won't be necessary.

Anyone knows where i can watch today's game with artosis and tasteless commentating ?
I can't find any site, except gomtv but there's only the first set :x
Thx.

Hell, even not true when test stream didn't exist, you just had to refresh the page until you got a slot, omg 3 minutes and 5 clics, that's intolerable I'll go watch a restream.

Are you dumb? Refreshing doesn't magically create spots. You take the spot of someone who left or had to refresh.
If capacity+1 people want to watch it from start to end, 1 of them will simply never watch it. And right now the capacity is low and you are dumb

just watched Foxer vs Kyrix G1
old school BW gameplay in SC2 is so sexy and entertaining to watch
love watching constant battles over and over again versus throw 1 mass ball of units against another
I wonder if overlord baneling drops can help counter the marine micro.

You are dumb as you ignored his point about the free test stream which has unlimited slots.

and lags like all hell broke loose on it

only reason why i watch restreams is because i have a mac and the gom player is not for macs. Kinda bullshit since i even bought the service and they dont have mac support. i was able to stream it through VLC last season but this season they changed the stream format so i'm forced to watch a restream.
