Thanks to people for creating these threads, but can I ask why the first posts in GSL threads seem so lackluster? Previously I had to read a good chunk of the thread to figure out what the recommended games were, and doing so easily led to spoilers. Today I can't even see how the series broke down, just that Fake Boxer 3-2 Kyrix (and the second match isn't even updated). I just feel the creator of the thread should be responsible enough to update the original post, or to ask an admin to do so.

People like you are pretty disgusting. Why don't you contribute to the site/tournament instead of begging for handouts. They offers 1 day tickets for like $2, and a season pass (all matches, hq vods and well as live) for $20.

And streaming or re-streaming is illegal.

If you enjoy these tournaments and the players, then try showing support.

I may appear to be an emotionless sarcastic pos, but just like an onion when you pull off more and more layers you find the exact same thing everytime and you start crying

Holy shit, game 5 foxer vs Kyrix was absolutely insane.. really reminded me of bio play vs Zerg in SC:BW.. AMAZING marine control.. I even struggle to split them in 2 directions, he managed to split them in 4-5 groups in about 1 second throughout all the games.. Ridicilous.

RELENTLESS Marine aggression in game 1 aswell, amazing.

Because people get tired and fall asleep, sometimes someone who usually makes LR threads doesn't and someone else steps up. Sometimes shit just happens.

Would be cool if there were a way to edit those in as viewers or something

Because GOM's streams are really, really bad. Please don't be unnecessarily mean.

To everyone whining about EMP and making absurd assumptions about how much damage it does, you realize zealots, stalkers and sentries don't even have 100 shields to begin with right?

Stalkers have 80

Also, I play random. And I honestly dont remember that last time I lost to a protoss as terran. A good early timing push will destroy mid level diamond protoss and if not you can transition to 1 of about 4 different tech routes.

I am not even close to a pro, but if I can do it on my level, I am sure pros can do something just as well.

middle diamond makes u at best D in bw, wouldnt speak about balance if i was D iccup player.

Never really played BW - Dont know the ranking systems. What % of people are broken into each category?

But for SC2 its 20/20/20/20/20 in each level - you can check sc2 ranks, There are about 10-15k people world wide that are mid diamond plus.

Oh so wrong.

http://sc2ranks.com/stats/league/all/1/all

Scroll down.

If you are too lazy to check your own source -
7-8% diamond, 10-15% platinum, 14-18% gold, 19-24% silver, 39-51% bronze.

That is hardly 20/20/20/20/20.

Yeah it's a shame - I wouldn't mind for a day or two because I understand shit happens, but it's frustrating when I can't watch the games live and most of the GSL LR threads are rather poorly maintained.

Best we can hope for is an admin to step in and edit I suppose.

Just woke up. Seems like Fake Boxer and HopeTorture won their matches? Would someone confirm this? Sorry, too sleepy to look over the last ten pages.

Anything noteworthy happen in the games themselves?

Get a better connection. I watch every HQ stream vid, and have had zero lag problems.

Their stream has always been good except during their 'test' team coverage. 95% of the time it is your own connection struggling. Same with their website except for that one off-hour small downtime.

Yeah game 1 and 5, especially the 5th, of the Boxer vs Kyrix match were probably the best games I have seen from sc2 so far. Sure there have been great epic games in the past but these showed such next-level play, as if looking into the future of sc2. (now tell me again the skill ceiling is low in sc2 and there is no micro..) Games 2 and 3 were nice to see how this bust strategy is really effective, and then game 4 those mass banshees, hadn't seen that before.

Terran and zerg are already looking mighty fine as a race, but protoss. I don't know what it is, does the race just need that tiny bit of help like the last patches did for zerg to make them competitive, or is it just a matter of getting an examplary top player to show us how it's done? Well outside of GSL, protoss (nexgenius) won blizzcon and huk just won EG master's cup so it's not like protoss are failing.

there is nothing about connection there.

Altough i payed for the stream, i can only see it in LQ and i have to wait a while to watch the vods cause they don't stream fast enough.

My connection is 10mb and yet it's still slow because of the distance
