From what I hear practice partners mainly run within teams / circles of players people are friendly with.. if anything slush would be practicing with root not select(the qxc slayer)

There are goin to be some more korea server players at blizzcon so select will have to be ready for that. I'm glad select is going to compete in gsl3 hopefully he goes early and practices against korean zergs before the preliminaries.

I wasn't really talking about the last patch only, rather the last two patches. I know that IdrA mainly complained about not being able to scout, but didn't he really come up with a great method getting that early overlord speed that he's using to get his information every time? But honestly, taking away the reaper rush double and nerfing medivacs, it just reset that matchup in my opinion.

I hope he does really well in GSL. I mean, if he doesn't, what hope does foreigners have considering how dominant he was here in MLG?

If he made it through the Winners Bracket, and he didn't have any Zerg practice partners? ![]() It's pretty grueling. To get knocked into the loser's bracket that early means that you end up playing way more games. I don't think he was trying to make excuses, but maybe it came across differently than he meant to because of language, who knows. I absolutely believe him that he didn't have anyone to practice with that was anywhere near the skill level of idra though ![]()
