I love that he always gives a shout out to fans, yay!

Seriously tho, props to IdrA I felt he was leagues ahead of his competition.
He learned his interview skills from Korean progamers

Yeah I'm sure idra's opinion influenced Blizzard's patches.

30 matches straight and facing up against IdrA of all people. His excuses are justified.

select met slush earlier in the lb no?
i dont think he was making excuses. he said there is no zerg practice partner of idra level in na. it was somewhat a compliment to him.

bwuaah just came home. need vods >.<

Are mutas a fast enough counter to thor drops if you start with double hellion?

Your ignorance doesn't help much, either.

didn't he face Slush? Slush is a good zerg, not at idras level but definitely competent and knows what he's doing.

i agree.. mlg having WoW and not CS or CSS
Someone needs to get smacked.

I just became a serious fan of seleCT. Pretty sympathic guy. IdrA, on the other hand, is in my opinion just a really, really annoying and uninteresting person with a good sense for the game.

Too bad there are no good Zerg on NA. SeleCT almost exclusively ladders as seen by his monster ladder rating and number of games, so he probably does lack TvZ practice.

He seemed pretty happy with the 1.1.2 patch on SotG

Both MLGs I have sort of lost interest because of the double elim format, to me games just feel less important that way until the finals, which are usually ruined by one guy going in with a disadvantage. Why not use a system where you have a better chance of an epic final
I hope for the next MLG they use a better tournament set up, and my own personal gripe, I hope they settle on a caster duo that doesnt involve JP, I just don't like his casting of SC2

what about the 5/6 7/8 place matches will tehy get streamed? or if theyre already played are results anywhere to be found?

That's the point of double elimination, you should focus on winning to avoid being put in a position where you need to play a ton of matches like Select had to... Why should he get an extra hour to rest (btw they let him eat so it's not like it was inhumane) Idra won all of his matches in the winners bracket so he earned the rest.

those would be too much of direct competition against halo, which is the big draw for mlg.
