Hey everyone... so for those who didn't have a chance to watch some of the replays, here's a brief run-down of Idra's Ro16 match against avilo...
+ Show Spoiler +Game 1 - lost temple (spawn cross-positions, 3 and 9) avilo goes 1 rax 1 factory for a fast push with hellions, shut down easily by IdrA's 3 spine crawlers at his fast expansion. avilo transitions into 2-port banshees, getting supply blocked. By the time he sends 4 in, IdrA has an overseer and 12 mutas. IdrA masses mutas, lings, and roaches, keeping avilo contained in the base through good muta harrass, while IdrA expands to the 6. At this point, the supply is 178 IdrA, 118 avilo. IdrA moves out to mass-expand, and attacks at the front. Some units from each die, and IdrA is back at max supply before the battle is over, almost all roaches. Pushes the front again against avilo's 120 supply, gg.
+ Show Spoiler +Game 2 - Xel'Naga Caverns Fast double factory for avilo, where IdrA this time skips all but 2 lings and goes straight for roaches, pushing with 6 and containing avilo at his ramp. avilo is forced to get siege tanks, while IdrA makes nothing but drones. 4 hellions slip past the contain, but IdrA pre-evacuates the drones from his expansion, losing only one and placing 2 queens on the ramp. After some more unsuccessful hellion harrass, both players expand and macro. avilo transitions into 4 rax 2 factory marine/thor, and IdrA sticks with the mass roach, adding some banelings and infestors (with fungal growth). avilo makes a push down the middle of the map with 1 thor, 5 or 6 tanks, and a bunch of marines against IdrA's mostly roach+infestor army. The marines overextend and get caught by 4 perfect fungal growths, killing all but 2, and IdrA flanks to decimate avilo's army, gg.
Perhaps others can watch games of those who made it to the winners Ro8 and provide a brief synopsis?

Any news on the sharpness/contrast issue ? Will it be resolved for today's SC2 streams ? Will the bandwith stay at 2.2mbps ?

There are very few who can play a pure macro game with IdrA. That's one thing we're finding out more and more, since IdrA's loss during the Ro32 at the first GSL. That void ray proxy was the only way to throw IdrA off his game. We saw ajtls try the same thing during the Ro32 here, with the double-rax marauder proxy.

Hey people,
I´ve been watching some of the replays and I was reading here in order to watch for a replay pack for day 1 and i didnt see it. If anybody wants I made a pack with replays from the most known people in the tournament.
Here it´s the link: [url blocked]
Also i hope to see very good matches today
PS: I forgot, replays are separated by folders, where each folder its the name of the player. So you just look the player you want and all his replays are there;)

Really disappointed that they decided not to rerun the stream from last night the way they always did in the past. As a european it was so nice to be able to get up in the morning and watch the games you missed during the night, especially since the VoDs take several weeks to come out. Instead they release replays as the only way to get caught up before the new games start. This doesn't make any sense to me. They have Day9 commentating and the stream is full of ads for their sponsors, so why are they pushing people to watch replays instead of rerunning the stream as usual? Makes no sense.
