Don't play on 2v2 team maps, just play on 4+ player maps with no shared bases. Should make it a little less one-sided.

Yep. These maps are also bigger (larger rush distances), and have more starting locations, which means longer scouting times, which slows down rushes.

I dont know SC2 but i'm intrigued. Someone enlighten me, is 2 vs. 1 plausible? What if they rush?

I used to and still continue to play broodwar 1 vs. 2 (D and D-) friends. Only with a NR rule. Even then its become increasingly hard for me to win, and i seldom do so on few MUs where they both are the same race. (i'm c-)
