IntoTheRainbow says he's done with progaming, he's just competing in SC2 for fun, since he has a real job. To the Koreans, SC2 is not even a professional progaming event, like brood war; it's just a fun little competition. It's not on the same level. Real progamers play BW; amateurs play SC2. Hope that changes.

I really hope SC2 takes off in Korea, but I'm afraid it won't be anytime soon. At least it gives foreigners more of a chance at doing well, for the time being. Here's another TLO pic for all the fanboys/girls out there ![]()

Because, if I'm not mistaken, GSL has bigger prize pool than any other progaming event so far. And payment is supposed to be what defines professional vs non-professional activity (sadly).Whoa, I just realized--these guys are all talking about playing against *former* progamers, and about oGs being a *clan* rather than a *team*. In respect to the no-shows: When you hold a tournament with 2000 sign-ups, there always be massive no shows, in any sport or game. In this case, these guys are no pro's, nearly everyone is a complete amateur. It's easier to sign up online for a small fee than find a way to actually be around in Seoul when you are a (probably) broke 18 year old kid. And just because it needs to be said at least once each page: The game is one month old.

Also IdrA and Liquid hwaiting! The brackets say he's in round 4. He got a first round bye and then beat 2 korean guys. So he should be playing his round 4 games now. If he wins those then he goes to the Round of 64 with Idra! :D
