To people saying b.net failed: It was mostly IEM's internet, not b.net. Shortly before the TLO vs nada showmatch their internet died entirely and they couldnt do the quake live games either. Also, the quake live games were getting some lag as well. It really wasnt blizzard's fault for anything that happened. Not saying LAN wouldnt be nice, but to say that b.net failed here is just wrong. ... the issue isn't what caused the drop or whatever that fact is its SO MUCH less likely to happen with LAN. There are some many other factors that are not in the event organizers control because there is no Lan.

About KeSPA situation Why were they so against the showmatch being streamed in korea that they would force NaDa to GG halfway through the game once they discovered a korean stream of the games? Maybe they are afraid that SC2 will actually become popular in korea resulting in their loss of BW players (and so a loss in income)? dude yesterday eu battle.net lagged alot and not only in iem but for everyone, since u dont play europe server dont talk about stuff u have no clue

Extreme Masters this year is all about CS, QL and SC2. How cool is this ? Best esport year is ahead us. Its going to be a fcking great year.

I think Quake is a better spectator sport. It's easier to follow what is happening in a 1on1 than in a 5on5 when you can only view the POV of one of the 10 players at a time. Hard for all the teamplay in CS to be visible on the stream.
