Nice.... looking foward to this....
So you guys prefer a live cast final, or you're cool with VODs only?
ooo nice tourney :D gogo huk represent north america btw who is Omar i never heard of this guy xD
I wanted to see how one of the Bulgarian top players will perform against the PROs
OMASJack from WC3. May not ring any bells as well
So, live cast for the final or just vods?
hopefully live cast ^^ great work can't wait
great event and great players, can't wait.
how do you guys deal with the cross server issues? or does huk have two accounts
damn i dunno if i would wanna spend another $60 just so i could play on euro >_<
yes but HuK is a pro player supported by a good team..
stay tuned tomorrow we will start to upload the vods!!
Day 1 Dimaga vs TLO posted, enjoy!
+ Show Spoiler +I think I'd have smashed my keyboard if I was Dimaga in game 3. That shit looked so frustrating to play against!
Great first series. Looking forward to more games like these.
You should stream these games live (and then upload the VODs on youtube afterwards). If a live stream of Dimaga vs TLO was up on the side bar of Team Liquid then thousands of people would have tuned in, whereas now people just aren't checking this thread and don't know these games are happening.

+ Show Spoiler + Dimaga did not deserve that win, he played like crap and just gave away his victory. I hope zerg wont get buffed. If Dimaga had some micro and thinking outside his 1a control syndrome, he would have done better. Yes Im a zerg player, and it hurts seeing clumsy ultralisk just 1a moving towards hellions no micro involved or reading the game.

Can you, please, update the results too. I probably won't have the time to watch all the VODs to see them for myself ;P

HuK is not a pro player....not even semi-pro to my knowledge, has he even earned a dime on the game yet? I stopped following him after KotB, and to that date he hadn't taken a series from one reputable player. I kno he plays in pretty much any tourney he can, but I never seen him win any, maybe he won a couple small ones (if even that)
Far from pro

he can challange with the top player in the world.. for this reason I called him Pro..

shame this tourney isnt getting more spotlight with some great names participating. looking forward to the semis/finals. go TLO!
one problem with this tournament is, that its way to slow. They release every 2-3 days one game, thats not enough. Additionally its lacks organization. There are no timetables etc.
mayb livestreaming , semi + finals?
I really second Crazyahmed`s comment. While I was really eager to follow this tournament after watching the opening match with TLO and Dimaga I somehow lost my motivation to watch the subsequent matches as the time gap between them was just so huge and there really is a lack of information: e.g. when the matches were played and so forth. I think that giving some sort of background information is really inevitable to make a tournament flattering. I`m quite skeptical about the recent tendency to stretch the duration of a tournament in order to gain as many youtube subscribers as possible. There are so many weekly tournaments and especially when the price pool is not that spectacular there is always the risk that the hype vanishes and viewers stop caring. Btw. is there any update about when the playoff starts? P.S:: I´m sorry that my criticism may sound a bit harsh. I really appreciate the work you`ve done but I feel that some things just had to be addresed.

Youtube subscribers was not the motivation/problem. It was the massive tournaments...IEM, MLG, etc. These pro gamers have a lot of commitments we have to work around to set up matches. Finally we found a weekend that works for everyone. Its not easy to do invitationals with livestreams anymore.

About to start soon guys.
they had lots of trouble with accounts being blocked + having to install clients for other servers!
thanks for putting this together guys.

this is very bm by lalush. DQ him and get on with it.

It's not his fault Telcontar.
he had to uninstall the european client, install the US client and then download all the updates..

The stream is lagging like crazy.
Holy crap, TLO. Double Armory mass Thor build on LT.
I am officially in love.
Nice game and also nice commentary ^^
the lag on the stream is almost unbearable.
I`m not seeing the lag at alll..... it`s been fine.
IF you lag, right click the stream, go macromedia setttings, and increase the buffer from 100kb to 1mb.
This instantly fix lag for me.
LOL. What is this, the cheese olympics for TLO lol... mass thor on LT then BC`s on scrap station.
OMG TLO I love you so much BC rush working is awesome, thank you :D

Lalush getting punished for winning game one :D

That was such BM from lalush in g3, after both his hatcheries got taken down, he keeps trying to take out 2 BC`s with 2 spore crawlers.... You got beat, just gg.
(In addition, did you notice that when he was going to say gg, he goes: `gg, well terrand`, instead of giving TLO credit for the win. Lalush pulls an IdrA, blaming a good play on bad balance).

To be fair, early BCs are really hard to counter for (Zerg and Protoss) ground forces, even Blizzard has acknowledged that.

Its not that much risky,if zerg doesnt blindy go hydras he's done :s

not so angry about last game. more about 2nd. I know from experience after doing drop play and killing 40 SCVs, terran will panic and go "omg i haz no SCVs, I needz a-move zerg baze".
And I knew he was thor heavy. So I built as many roaches as I possibly could before dropping, during dropping, and after finishing dropping because i know from experience every good terran will counterattack immediately, and that I would have to stop that counterattack.
So... I basically anticipated what was coming like 5 minutes in advance, made a shitload of units, but still wasn't able to do squat about the counterattack. That's the sort of thing that makes me mad, not what happened in game 3. 5thors 3tanks killing 60 roach is more frustrating.
Sure I could've been more efficient. Neural Parasite upgrade better timed. Or maybe rather forgoing Infestor's and neural parasite for more units, mixing in lings to the mix etc... It's easy picking up on these things afterwards, but harder in game.
This is basically why anyone saying "zerg needs to do more drop play/nydus play" is wrong. Zerg can only do drop play if they manage to distract terran's counterattack long enough. Doesn't happen often vs good players.
beautiful game from dimiga
edit - awesome games btw lalush. fight the power!
Yeah game 2 was good, those banelings drop were so cool !
And now Dimaga vs BratOK 2 of my favorite players ! Dimaga is awesome

Last time Zerg has won any tournament is like at least a month ago and only DIMAGA for that matter.
However, I think most people can agree that TLO is exceptionally talented regardless of his race, so BM should be saved for lesser Terrans.

is dimaga watching the stream? that mutalisk turn-back was p. much spot on

dimaga is awesome when he doesn't try for all ins

What happened with Group B - Day 5? I suppose that the match was BRAT_OK vs HuK? Did HuK forfeit his games?

HuK forfeited the games due to lag on the servers I believe, giving BratOK a 2-0 victory.

"These roaches are able to take sooo much damage"
And you see 12 roaches trying to kill 1 thor and failing while 3-4 roaches are dying every second.
gg to tlo :-) nice second and fourth game.
Fourth game was great, go go TLO!
I think it's a mistake to go for thors instead of tanks there, one volley of roach attacks would have killed tanks, greatly reducing the DPS the roaches were taking.
Don't forget he's got tons of SCV's repairing the thors too. Maybe SCV repair priority will get changed next patch. If you add that to lings/blings able to get in past the tanks a bit better and it will make some difference, as it would have in that game.

A battlecruiser rush in an ace match in a semi-final is pimp as hell! :D

so nobody want to vote for pimpest prize?

Vote for TLOs Marine-Drop followed by BCs. Also we have to consider that he was ill on that day!

Ok, Zergs have to put battlecruiser rush on their list of things to worry about from terran, LOL. I think zergs will have to adjust their builds such that they have enough gas for (hydra den or spire or infestation pit) + overseer as soon as their lair finishes.

An overlord sacrifice or two that he easily had available would have clearly revealed the fusion core.
